Not quite red🫣

Considering he had surgery yesterday a high bg isn't unexpected. His depot is empty πŸ˜” The leg is wrapped up in bandages. The hole is fixed. A biopsy was taken just to make sure it's not cancer or anything. I'm supposed to bring him back next week to get the bandages changed but I can do that myself. He's still on Clavamox and needs gabapentin for pain / sedation so he doesn't move around too much. Not that he knows how to move anymore. He doesn't know how to walk with a bandaged leg πŸ˜‚ He just kind of pulls the leg around. Vet tech says he needs kitty crutches πŸ˜‚

Poor sweet baby. It hurts my heart to read this 😘
Sending lots of vines and prayers for Leroy to feel much better quickly and be back to his adorable, crazy self very soon πŸƒπŸ«ΆπŸ€πŸ™

He figured out how to walk if somewhat clumsily.

He's a bit quiet but appetite is good so I'm not worried about p-itis. He got another dose of gabapentin with dinner. I have bupe too but I don't think he needs that. He can get into the litter boxes just fine. I still put down pee pads this morning and even in the kitchen sink just in case.

The vet did some bloodwork yesterday. BUN was elevated and bg was 274. Nothing to be concerned about. The vet put Leroy on IV fluids to keep him hydrated for the day.
