Happy Labor Day LL,

I almost overslept this morning! OOPS! Anyway, managed to peel myself out of bed fast enough to get the bird fed, civvies fed, and drooler out before test, shoot, feed. Whew, it was a race.

Jetta had a fantastic day yesterday. She was more like her old self than I've seen in a long long long time. It really is amazing the difference just a few days can make. Now if we can only get these AMPS numbers down...

The AMPS number is the last to come down....(I don't know why though)

Uh...wow...I'm not even sure Gracie is that big of a diving champ!!! She wanted to be green RIGHT NOW!!

Glad she is feeling better. Hope she enjoys LTS where she can sit with Gracie, Tess, and Gabby.

Ok- I'm kind of (ok- very) nervous. After shooting tonight, I went to re-cap the syringe and there was blood on the needle. I've never seen this before. I was like- Ohmygosh. I Pulled back on the plunger and there appears to be a bit in the syringe as well. I didn't breathe for a minute and waited for Jetta to keel over, but she's ok. Has this happened to anyone? What did I do? Did I hit a vein? If so, what does that mean?

That has happened to me, and the first time it did I had pretty much the same reaction.
You probably hit a capillary - no worries.

Thanks for the bump Amy, and thanks Sandy. She seems totally fine. Shat ate half her dinner (normal) and she's been standing between me and the computer head butting my nose. I literally almost passed out when I saw the blood. Like oh crap! What did I do??!!?!?!?!! Hopefully a few others weigh in.

Ok, so the concensus is that she's going to live, and so far so good. whew. I on the other hand might need to borrow a defibrilator :lol: :lol: :lol:

And, yes, Jetta has been practicing for the Olympic Skydiving team. She loves those giant drops. Is that bad for her liver? A few people have mentoined her liver when talking about her drops.
