Hi guys, good evening!

When I poke the needle of the syringe to the Lantus pen this afternoon, I squeezed a bubble into the pen by mistake. Can I continue to use the Lantus pen or I should buy a new one?

I've done it too... my pen continued to be fine, as well as the insulin.

if it goes bad you'll know by a couple of things - one is that ahmin might have unexplained higher numbers, that you might lose regulation of him. another is that you should look at your lantus and if you see stringy things in the lantus, it might've gone bad.

until or unless one of those things happen, don't worry!

Thx Julie, just worried about if i should continue to use it coz i remember someone here told me it may cause contamination to the insulin. I'll keep an eye on it, if there either those things u said happened, I'll get a new one then.
