9/30 Tibby AMPS 287. Getting more regular

Good Morning Amy,

I'm not sure about the term regulated as far as those yellow AMPS's go - however the important part of what this dose is doing is missing since there are no mid-cycle tests.

If you're working all day and can't get them, perhaps a note on those days would be helpful. Is it possible to get even a 1+ before you leave the house?

I'm basing my comment on this "blood sugar levels should be regulated between 250 mg/dl (13.88 mmol/L) and 80 mg/dl (4.44 mmol/L)" So although not ideal in the 200's, it's better than nothing...and with the proper amount of insulin cats will usually do better as far as hunger/thirst.

Take a look at Patty & Teal'c SS - she works and can't test all night/day, etc. and makes a note on the days when she's working so we don't keep asking her why there are no mid-cycle tests on certain days.

That would be a lot of notes saying I'm working, but I guess that's what copy and paste are for.

I'm just thinking he's more regular, less all over the place, than when we started, so it feels like he's going in the right direction. The overall trends are in the right direction.
