Yesterday
Morning and Happy Sunday! Raja has 3 Ps so far this morning. At each meal yesterday she did not eat the way she usually does. I had to tempt her to retry the food with some more freeze dried chicken on top.
Raja has ALWAYS had a healthy appetite so this is troubling to me. She had the little pukey before breffis yesterday but no other vomiting. Shadow has been a little more finnicky than usual with his foods too, come to think of it.
She ate breffis but did not clean her bowl. Thanks everyone for your visits yesterday....hopefully she will be fine again soon. I had just bought some cans of Wellness chicken for the DPS to use along with their usual fare. I had stopped using it after the taurine issue and now I am sorry that I gave it another try. Will dump the remaining cans that I have just in case there is an issue with it, even though I have not fed it exclusively. I doubt that this has anything to do with how Raja is feeling....but what do I know....sigh...

Aw Pat, I'm sorry Raja's not feeling herself. It is troubling when the baby behaves differently....especially when they normally are good eaters, then not so good.

Is there a change of seasons in Fla? Does that even effect cats?

I hope she gets over this quickly and easily.

Thanks for your kind thoughts you guys...and Dyana yes...she ate ....but not like she usually eats. I went out for a bit and when i came back, she was on my bed. That was a good sign. I gave her a little more food and she ate some.
Hope she will be hungry at dinner time but I might just have ruined that with this alst snack.
She isn't meatloafing or anything...I wish i was a mind reader at times like this though...ya know?

I know. I've had eating issues with J.D.
It's like two or three days on and one day off.
And, often when J.D. doesn't eat, neither does Ginger. It does make me wonder about the food, sometimes. Are they getting tired of FF? They don't like the more expensive foods. Cats.

FF here too!!
I recently tried Pro Plan chicken & Liver and they both seemed to like it. And of course, the Wellness that I bought for when i was away. But honestly, they had been eating only FF exclusively before a couple of weeks ago and all seemed fine.
It is so upsetting when they don't eat....
Well, I am going to go back to the strick FF that worked for so long and not try to get too varied with their menu.

She ate half of what I put out for her but she was right there and ready....so I guess that is a good sign for now. I had given her a little bit at +10 too so all-in-all, a great effort on her part. Hope she will be back to normal soon....the Temptations helped to keep her numbers up as well as tempting her to eat something.
She had FF turkey and giblets for dinner....

Sorry to hear about Raja's appetite issues, but these things happen. It could well be the change in her food. I think you are wise to go back to feeding FF, since that is what she and Shadow like. Rusty's absolute favorite is FF Turkey & Giblets, but it tends to spike his bgs, so he only gets a little of it as a treat once a day, unless his bgs need bringing up. Otherwise he eats and likes Wellness, but I am trying to add some other foods to his diet (Merrick BG turkey for now, since I have some cans of that).

Hi Pat, Glad Raja started eating a bit, hope her appetite improves. Our cats have been eating very little since yesterday too, wonder if its the weather change or something like that. We feed our babies the same FF flavor all the time, no variety at all, still I think it varies a bit from batch to batch. I hope Raja and Shadow reusme normal eating soon. Have a great evening!
