He played this morning! But we had a really rough time. Seems his right ear doesn't have much blood, we always have to prick 3 times to get any and I'm thinking about maybe always using the left ear from now on. What do you think?

That got us off to a bad start so pilling didn't happen and he jumped away 3 times when trying to give insulin. I guess there are bad days huh? But he accepted a treat love offering after that, we're still friends.

I am trying to get earlier with the insulin so we can +2's at night before midnight. However shenanigans like this morning don't help, it takes too long and we don't get earlier. Oh well.

Molly can be like that too. I find sometimes one ear won't bleed. So I'll try the other ear. In the early days of her diagnosis I wrapped her in my blanket and tested her that way. There will always be bad days I still have them. I always reward her with a treat! Have a good day Jan and Squeaky!

Jones had a good ear and bad ear for blood. I still tried to rotate them but there was times that I gave up and ended up poking him in the good ear too.
