Good Holiday Weekend Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is BLUE this morning!! (never thought I'd be so happy for a high blue!!). Hopefully he'll be on his way down to better numbers now. Thanks to everyone for your support yesterday. I've attached the lab reports to my signature for the time being (until I can figure out how to combine the 2 documents). Sienne and Marje: thanks for noting the high HGB. No, the vet did not discuss this with me, but I will ask her about it on Sept. 12th, when we go in for the dental. I don't think Rusty is dehydrated (his skin is very firm), but he never drinks water (I add water to his food so that it is soupy). I'll have to look up what high HGB means (total idiot when it comes to medical stuff!!)

We had a good test, shot, breakfast, and now Rusty is chillaxin. Very warm and muggy here today. The holiday weekend is upon us and everyone here hopes that the tourists will still come (the main--only--road from the East through the High Peaks is closed and totally washed out in places; it may be weeks or months before it is open). We are apprehensive that some of the farmers who come to our farmers' market may have lost their crops in the hurricane. We'll see later this morning.

Off now to visit condos. Special healing vines to Tarragon, Garland, Rocket, and all other kitties.

Hi again,
The farmers are still here (although they all had a lot of damage to their crops), the tourists seem to be here, and Rusty is in LOW BLUE!!! Yay!

Hope everyone is having a good holiday weekend. I'm off to do some shopping.

Hi Ella. Rusty's coming down beautifully :-D
It's so darn hot here the last couple days, over 90 yesterday. It's 85 right now, not as bad, but I still won't venture out to the farmer's market, only ten minutes away. I really wanted to get some Pa peaches. Yum!

Rusty is coming down nicely for you today. I just went back to yesterday's condo. So sorry about the numbers! Glad that they ruled out a UTI. Hopefully the dental will do the trick! ((((Ella))))

Thanks for the grins, Barb! I heard about the hot weather you are having and hope it doesn't come up here (it's hot enough here!). Thanks for looking in on Rusty. He's lying on the couch with feet in the air and the breeze from the fan blowing over his belly.

Sounds cute sleeping upside down on the couch. I wonder why so many long-haired cats seem to sleep that way?

Good news that the farmers have survived OK. Too bad on their crops though. I hope ti wasn't too extensive. I guess it is good too that the tourists have made an appearance. :-D

and YAY!!! Rusty is BLUE - one almost qualifies as green. Go Rusty!!!
 
I think this evening is a bounce, not a fur shot. Today was a much better day of numbers.

I'm so thrilled to see his numbers today!!! And that belly chillin' sounds heavenly!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I hope you all had a relaxing day. Tobey was very busy this week lifting weights so he could go help with the fish!! Silly boy.

Paws crossed we will continue to see a downward trend on his numbers. Does he onset at +4? When does he nadir? I need to look at his SS!
