Mikan had a brief visit to 49 last night.
She avoided going to Mars for now and starting in the mid yellow range.
Hope the bounce won't be too harsh!

Whoa, what a cycle last night, Kit and Mikan! She even snuck in a lime :eek::D

Not a bad recovery this morning considering her cycle :D:D

Hope she has a gentle slide back to greens with no drama. I know it’s Tuesday, but if feels like Monday :rolleyes:

Yup, Mikan thought of deep sea diving but decided to just dip in and came back up :smuggrin:
She seems to randomly throw some green here and now - I've been telling her "CONSISTENCY" is what we are looking for :rolleyes:

I know, I was thinking of my Monday schedule this morning only to realize, ohhhh, it's Tuesday! :p
Short week is always welcome though :p:p:p

Well, her PMPS was 216, which suggests that Mikan went down lower earlier. 72 at 10.5 must have been on her way up.
Too bad I had to be at work and could not test her between +3 and +10.
But I consider this as a great cycle. Hope she can do it again!

I feel that bummer of not being able to test because of work. I hope she doesn't get too high, and you see some good greens again soon!

I agree.
I sometimes wonder if I'm missing something important because I can't be home to monitor all the time.
I wish I could clone me.
Mikan seems fairly flat and benign tonight. At least, no trip to Mars. I should take this as a victory :p

How is your shoulder? Hope you are recovering well from the surgery!
I'm guessing that Mikan had a nice AM cycle yesterday, but I couldn't test her often enough during the day because of work (work gets in the way! :mad:)
Hope she can repeat again soon!

Hi Kit, My shoulder is coming along, really didn't have that much pain, only had to take pain meds twice since the surgery. Still in a sling until 9-11 when I see the doctor for the follow up. I assume she will take the stitches out. It's just 4 tiny holes he made. I van shower now but need to put waterproof bandaids on . I told my sister that she will have to dry me off . She said that I could do it. She wouldn't make a very good caregiver lol :p
I told that she only has to do the back of me lol. ha ha. Getting ready to leave to go see the surgeon for my hip. He'll go over the MRI I had with contrast. They injected it right into my hip.
I saw the report and said there is a tear and a small cyst. So let's see what he has to say. I can start PT on 9-11. For now they said to flex my wrist up toward the ceiling and the floor and bring my arm up and down keeping it close to my body and then just bring it up from the elbow.
Let's see what the next body part will go next lol. One good thing I haven't smoked a cigarette 6 days. .

I'll be back later to check on all the kitties :bighug::bighug::bighug: Just got back from seeing the hip surgeon. I have a small labral tear and the cyst is common with this. I will have to see another surgeon who specializes in this to see if I am a candidate. The doctor I saw today doesn't think so , that's why he's sending me to the other surgeon. Definitely don't need a hip replacement. If I'm not a candidate the doctor I saw today said we can try different types of injections, different from what my pain management did in the past. He said we'll figure something out. He's very good friends with the surgeon he wants me to see and will let him know he's sending me to see him. I'll make an appointment soon and see what he has to say. I'm just so sick and tired of all this crap.
I'll be on the board later today, taking a ride with my sister to see her surgeon that just did surgery on her knee last month. We are all falling apart lol
My brother needs another back and neck surgery also.

Glad to hear that the surgery went well and you are doing well!
Your surgeon must have been a good one!
I had an appendectomy a few years ago and although there were only three tiny incisions, boy did they hurt!
But take it easy and rest up! Hope your hip thing will get fixed soon too!
All those surgeries - but you know, once done, you all will be as good as new! ;)
