Still having a huge issue with these syringes. UGH. In the mean time I took a photo of 4 of the syringes all pushed as far to the end as they will go. The two middle ones are similar but they are all different and the difference between the far left and far right is probably 0.25. So which one would you use for the Caliper?
Plus if you just can't get the bubble out, do you add a drop more?

Can you use the caliper from the spot where the plunger ends? My annoying BD's sometimes had the plunger stop the other side of the zero line.

That one on the right is past the zero line. I just want to know which would be the best to use considering I might get any of these positions on the syringe. One of the problems is I chose to use the small side of the caliper using a calculator I found online (its from another diabetes group, which I dont belong to). It works well when the syringes are consistent. The other problem with using the method listed on here is that I could never find a "lip" to rest the top part of the caliper on. The caliper just movers around, especially since my left hand shakes and I cant do anything about that.
So I just need to decide which one of these syringes would be the best to use for using the small end of the caliper. If I set it, then it will just measure the same each time, even if it doesnt look the same on the syringe.
The problem I was running into especially with the 0.25 dose was the caliper setting was right for one syringe, but when I used it for another with different line placement the caliper would just push all the insulin out. The original one I was using was the one one the far left, where the plunger goes up to just at the bottom edge of the line. I guess I need to set it to the far left one and this see where it ends up on the far right one.

I just set the caliper for 0.5. using the far right one, that went past the line, and it measured right to 0.5. The others have varying measurements with the same setting. I think I'll use this one for now and see how it goes.
