Good Morning LL.
Somebody please remind me why I adore this ....CAT! grr_red
I kneeled in a puddle, on the wicker love seat on the screen porch. Checkers is the only one, so territorial, to have to mark everything that he considers his. Something must have been on the deck overnight. What a mess to clean first thing in the morning.
I don't have anything to take out the urine smell, just household cleaners. I had to take the loveseat outdoors to clean the
fake 'wicker'. The cushions need to be replaced anyway, I guess now's the time. :YMSIGH:

That was after he stuck his yucky cat tongue in the blender of milk, for morning chocolate banana smoothie.
No, there was no chocolate in it yet,...... and yes, this cheapskate drank it anyway.

Oh Checkers! You almost got away with just being a stinker with the milk stealing, but once you add in the puddle...you are in trouble!

Hope you guys have a (better) great day!!! ~Deborah & Shasta

Checkers, the loveseat is for lovin' not peeing! Barb, I hope you can find something to get the pee smell out and that Checkers made you a new milkshake!

Barb, that pic of Checkers drinking your shake is hilarious! Did he get any bananas? Someone who collects funny kitty pics would love that pic, like in a book or something or on the calendar! Sorry about the pee thing and on the cushion of your wicker chair. I use something called "Nature's Miracle just for cats" that helps remove stains and odor. I buy at a pet store or grocers, too, not sure though about the grocery store! Thanks for telling me of your story with sweet Samantha, very heartwarming with the support and so similar to Maggie.

Checkers is on a tear this morning! Pour white vinegar on the spot and let it soak in , then wash in a big tub or put it on the sidewalk and hose it off thoroughly. It is an out door cushion, right?

Checkers you rascal you are tooooo funny! The blender pic is hilarious! Sorry about the pee, hope you are able to get it out somehow. I have stepped in pee but have not knelt in it - yet. Surely that will come when I least expect it. Hope you have a great evening!

http://www.odormute.com/
Odormute is reasonably priced and can be mixed up easily. It's enzymes really work on cat urine.
I've even used it in a carpet cleaner when Tucker free peed all over the living room carpeting. Once dried, there was no smell at all!

Oh Barb I'm sorry but I had to laugh at that photo Epsom the heels of the puddle!

Thank you so much for checking on us and lending your support. I hear you are willing to take on Gracie and Tobey? Well the good thing is they both have stubby legs and won't jump on the counters without a chair to jump on first so your smoothies would be safe.

Love you!

Of course they mark territory! It's natural instinct. Dont blame Checkers for that, instead you have to show your love more & rest assure him that he's safe in his kingdom. (No wonder I am dealing with these markings everyday!  ) Dont ask me, I dont have an answer to why you love him so much. I keep asking myself the same question too nailbite_smile
Friends asked me to use diluted chloride to remove the smell of urine but I hate that smell of bleach. I used diluted vinegar mixed with sodar powder to clean soiled area. This mixture is put in bottle with a sprayer so that I can use it any time. After cleaning, dry the area under the sun helps.
