Good morning guys :-D Wish u all have a great day today :-D

Ahmin is doing fine these few days after the reduction, bg usually at 70s to 80s, and has a little bit increase after meal sometimes.
The weather was not very good in Hong Kong these few days, no sunshine, so no chance for him to have sunbath at the balcony ;-)

Frankly, i think to be living in Hong Kong is very lucky, no earthquake, no floods, no hurricane, no tornado, even seldom to have typhoon, we can say there's no natural disasters happened in HK b4. In these years, peoples in other countries experienced serious natural disasters, many people died or lost their home by that. Perhaps, peoples in Hong Kong are living too comfortable, most of the peoples dont have to worry about the living, therefore they have plenty of time to do complaint, like complaining about the government, the education scheme, the housing scheme, etc.....Especially the teenagers & those who's just graduated from university, always complain that they don't afford to buy a house in HK, it's too expensive....government should do something to lower the price....How could they think themself able to buy a house without giving any effort????? These peoples rather spend money on buying clothes of international brand, buying luxury goods, dinning at high class restaurant but don't save money for buying a house. they said they dont wanna lower their living standard in order to buy a house....wierd!!! I believe we have to give our effort if we wanna achieve a goal, and it must going step by step. Just like treating FD, we have to give our time & love to our kitties, we can't just do the dose increase or decrease without any bg testing, the numbers of the testing will tell u whether u should increase or decrease dosage. Sigh.....Hong Kong's teenagers, work harder pls, no pain, no gain!!

Ahmin, you are looking very good.... :)

You are doing so very good with him Christine. And yes, life needs a goal or more like living needs a goal.

I think the young complain because they don't yet know their lives. For some children will be a wake-up call to grow into living, others may find their life in their work, and still others will find it in other places.

I think it is part of the human condition to be unsatisfied with the present condition. It is what motivates one to take action. The question becomes how will one choose action. Will it be in work, sacrafice, and personal effort and the accomplishment of that endeavor or is it in placing ones hopes and dream in someone or something else, thereby turning over ones happiness of living to another? To me, that is a sure path to dissappointment. But, it is our human condition to complain and change.

Ahmin, you coming to Ohio tonight for the fishing pawty? ~~Attie

interesting thoughts, christine!

oddly enough, despite our natural disasters we also complain about the government, education, the high cost of buying a home - everything you mentioned! yes, perhaps it is our natural restlessness that makes us see to improve our lives. and you are very, very right, hard work is the answer! we've tried to teach our kids that as well - you are in charge of making your own life successful, nobody else.

great to see ahmin with another green preshot number! hope you have a wonderful day!
