Pancreatitis confirmed. Waiting on confirmation of dx for another UTI. Began mirtazapine, recommenced Cerenia, started insulin. No appetite yet, so .5 shot of basaglar begun with around 1 ounce regular wet food assisted feeding.

She has been listless and droopy of late, but this AM, she returned to bed with me after her meds and breakfast and began aggressive nuzzling at my jaw and neck. Hard purrs - not heard that in awhile. She was alert this morning, good sign.

Will be testing her roughly every 2 hours.

Yemala has been on fluids since '18. We are looking at numbers indicating possible liver failure, so her dosing for fluids is higher. She got around 250 last night, with the vet's blessing. Her heart sounds good, no congestion there. We have gabapentin compounded to 50 mg, and will administer it when she seems to be in pain.

We are anticipating labs from her cultured urine sample that will confirm a UTI as well. Once that comes in, we'll start her on antibiotics.

So to recap - this 21 year old girl will be getting cerenia, gaba as needed, mirtazapine, insulin, and B12 shots. She's a fighter, and we hope we can get her at least to a stable normal. We'll see.

356 for PMPS. She has had appx. 2 ounces of wet food today with around 2 ml of liver slurry. Not a lot of food, all assisted. She's straining to poop, but the cerenia hasn't cleared that deck yet.

Started clavamox for a likely UTI.
