Hopefully you can keep an eye on that +3,+4 today since appetite is seeming off and she did not want food this morning.

If you are using the shot needle u100 syringes you can put that needle in all the way up to the hilt. Then I was frequently conscious to push the plunger and not pull the barrel - that way the needle stayed in.

Will test again in 2 hours. Hope I did the shot right this time! Still can't figure out what I am doing wrong.
Oh, I shot Gator, before I read your post. I think I did what you said (allthe way to hilt and push plunger, not pull barrel)---but I will be certain to be aware of it next time. Thanks!

Maybe numbers in next cycle are staying high because of big drop the previous cycle?? You can at least watch for any pattern like that I guess. Food [amount] related too is another possibility I guess.

Sometimes too their response just seems to be variable. With Bix, he seems to randomly need more or less insulin on some days. Since his pancreas is partly in the game (which presumably Squamee's is too, with such a low dose) that could be some of it, or I think there may be health factors as well - higher #s if he isn't feeling well is my suspicion.

I wouldn't worry too much about any one cycle, especially since she's only been on the insulin a few days, there could be some wonkiness that will shake itself out in a few days, who knows.

Hope she is acting more normal by now!!!!
