A 72 really made my decision hard this morning. On the one hand, shoot low to stay low. On the other, he dropped into the 40s last night and this 72 is the result of a slow rise over several hours, including some gravy later in the cycle (though this is a new formulation of the gravy, so it very well could be much less carbs than the version I am used to).

Also informing the decision - we're only 4 cycles in at 8.0U, so it's a tad early to do another dose change. We also just got over doing a BCS shot a couple days ago.

What to do? What to do?

I'm probably crazy and will end up losing sleep over this, but I dropped the dose to 7.5U and gave it to him instead of doing a BCS dose. I'm hoping that the half unit reduction will register since we just finished a depot drain a couple days ago, but I understand that it's just as likely that he could drop in the next couple of hours and need to be pumped back up.

We'll see....

That is a hard call to make. I just went to peek at your SS, can you update it or maybe its just a glitch in the matrix:rolleyes:

Hope Jenks surfed for you today:D

Pretty good cycle considering he managed to stay under 100 despite being 44 last night and getting a half unit reduction this morning.

I'm a little concerned that the reduction was both premature and too big because there's a slight rise during the day and he numbers are elevated slightly over the last couple of days. We'll just have to see how the next couple of cycles play out because we can always jump right back to 8.0U if we need to.

But for now, we're at the lowest dose we've been at since the start of the year and keeping fingers crossed that it sticks!

@Beenie - The only glitch is me being too lazy to fill it out :D
