Good morning :cat: Was away all weekend, but am back and got to shoot a number lower than 180 this morning, which I haven't done before. I'm home all day and have some HC food on hand and will be testing. We'll see, probably a bouncy boy day. Have a lovely day🏄‍♀️🌊✨

Wow! That 104 was just about in the greens! (With 20% meter variance, it WAS in the greens, but we go by the actual meter number.) I'm glad to see that he's working the insulin so well.

You're right about bouncing 😕 He'll start to get used to those lower numbers in good time and, hopefully, won't bounce as much.

Here is the link to your last post here. We like to see those links so it's easy for us to go back and catch up on what happened recently.

Good for you on shooting that lower number. I suspect he might have gotten lower than 104 overnight and is now bouncing. That +2 last night being lower than PMPS was also an indicator he'd be going lower that cycle. If and when you cannot monitor later in a cycle and you see a drop by +2, make sure he's got food around to help keep himself safe.

Your comment on the spreadsheet on the 27th about the possible furshot. Was that last night or the night before? BTW, to check if you did a fur shot, check for either wetness for that very distinctive Lantus/glargine smell at the injection site. I think your premise is right, in that you did get it all in.

Ope that comment on the 27th was a mistake! Moved it to the 28th, I do have the timed feeder programmed to give him a snack in the middle of the night, but I do wish I got more tests in last night. I'll have to be more vigilant. I did feel/smell the site but couldn't tell, but you're right about it usually being more obvious. I wasn't sure if I should link my last post because it was several days ago, but I will do so from now on!

Thank you! He doesn't seem to be bouncing quiiiiite as quickly as before, but it's hard to tell since I've never shot so low. Hoping to be on track soon, need to be better about testing at night
