Good for you on shooting that lower number. I suspect he might have gotten lower than 104 overnight and is now bouncing. That +2 last night being lower than PMPS was also an indicator he'd be going lower that cycle. If and when you cannot monitor later in a cycle and you see a drop by +2, make sure he's got food around to help keep himself safe.
Your comment on the spreadsheet on the 27th about the possible furshot. Was that last night or the night before? BTW, to check if you did a fur shot, check for either wetness for that very distinctive Lantus/glargine smell at the injection site. I think your premise is right, in that you did get it all in
