obviously we both survived ... :woot::woot:

actually rather nice to see Catcat sliding along that green wave -- if it'd been daytime I would have encouraged it a bit more, but since I kept dozing off, I figured it would be better to plunk food and a coupleof Temptations treats down, and trust that carried him through early night nadir

(oh yeah, UH really blew out Nevada -- it was embarrassing; I guess that made up for when UW stomped on UH)

Slow down, you move too fast
You got to make the morning last
Just kicking down the cobblestones
Looking for fun and feeling groovy
Ba da-da da-da da-da, feeling groovy

:D:D:joyful:

he's lying there with his arm draped over his eyes -- as if to shut out the light from the skylights -- he was running back and forth past us as we watched the football game last night, bounding up and down the stairs, not stopping for a scritch nor a pet ... I think he feels good in the green, may be why he's somnolent now, waiting for the insulin to pull his BG back down .. I wouldn't mind crawling back under that fuzzy blanket and napping, myself

I keep telling him, it's Seahawks gameday, must wear blue and green ...

(though in fact the uniform of the day is Wolf Grey) -- should be an interesting game, a run-first team vs a pass-first team

Catcat has been laughing at Blake-the-dog all day -- seems the squeaker in his ball no longer squeaks, dog chomps on the ball 2-3-4-5 times, then drops the ball, looks disgusted, leaves ... pretty soon he's back, picks up the ball, chomps on it .. looks around to see if there's anyone noticing, anyone he can blame ...

Catcat just laughs ...

oh I wish he would have another lovely green cycle daytime !

probably not one tonight, though, looks like a more or less blue night -- I may just feed him and not test, took a fall at food bank yesterday and today my bruises are making themselves known (both hip muscles, both knees, and a groin pull) -- really hard to get up and down onto the floor -- not sure if I could manage him on the bed enough to test -- he wants to eat for a test, gets obstreperous if I try to test without, not sure if freezedry food is enough to calm him for a test, he splatters wet food all over so can't use that on the bed

another aspirin-fueled sleep and I'll feel more like doing things -- wish I could take a day off but cannot depend on DH to notice what time it is and remember what needs to be done when ( -- even if I wrote down the time schedule he would lose the note .. ) ... and DS works 11 hours a day

Candy I'm sorry to hear about your fall. Arnica works great for bruising. You can get it in a gel or pill form. I hope you feel better soon. Sending prayers.

Poor you Candy, so sorry to hear you fell. I hope it's not too bad and you feel better soon. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
I love how Catcat laughs at his doggie! :joyful:
