Zener is doing fine this morning. Appy wasn't so great but then the cypro kicked in and he ate some more. We did have to do a little bum cleaning. :roll: He didn't mind too much, he didn't even growl. He's now napping on the heating pad in the window. It was 30 F here last night so the heat has been on a couple of times.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Jamie and Jupiter, Laurie's Pixie (doing better), Dyana's J.D., Melissa's Tarragon. Safe travels to Rusty, Ella and Edward. Paws crossed for OTJ trials. Happy Caturday, LL!

Hi Liz. Nice drop out of the yellow zone by Zener this morning. Hope he continues to surf the blue or maybe even the green zone. Bummer on the bum cleaning...sounds like he took it like a man :lol: .

Hope he keeps his appetite. Have a great weekend Liz.

I hope Zener keeps sliding down today. Sorry about the bum cleaning. I hope his appy gets better today.

Almost there Zener, the water's warmer in the lagoon than it is at home. Hope the tomatoes survived that cold. Brr.

@carla - if it's not one end, it's the other. :roll:

@Melissa & Mr T - maybe the blue BGs are because the cold weather is turning us blue - we all feel a little chilly. Dusting of snow on the peaks above 10,000 feet Friday morning. :shock:

@Wendy & Neko - Hey's Neko - I's so love the picture you took of me on the water slide. I's look so brave and handsome. We may needs to get the sleds out for sliding on the ice soon. - Zener

Night duty bean (that's me) hurt my back last weekend, got an appointment with my physical therapist Thursday and was feeling great, then bent over to put a piece of paper on a table in class Friday morning - and drat - just like that, did it again. I'm thinking of taking some of the Bupe we got for Zener...it's only going to evaporate, if we don't use it. Back to the PT Monday morning. :evil:

At least you get to catch him and clean his bum before he uses various pieces of furniture to wipe against, and it's Skidmark City.
Not that I'm speaking from personal experience, no, of course not.

Bum cleaning isn't popular, I keep meaning to do a hair trim with the special blunt end scissors I bought but it only happens once in a blue moon that I have to clean the rear end, so I've been avoiding trimming...when I do clean things it's lots and lots of soft pretty girl talking and treats after :shock: :shock: :lol:

Hope the therapist can help you out Monday:) Maybe you can put the Bupe to good use? ;-) I need to do a chiropractor appt myself :roll:

Hi, Liz and Anne, and nice slide Zener!

Ohhh, Bum cleaning.
Lucy hates that.
She loves it when I stroke her back along the spine but when my hand goes towards the tail, she sort of tightens the base of her tail to cover her bum just in case I might be going there. :lol:

I see blues and greens for Zener tonight! Way to go!!! Sorry to hear about the bum cleaning. Always a sore subject around here! :oops: Hope everyone is staying warm with heating blankets and all! It's a lovely 80 degrees with humidity here in Central FL. :roll: Happy Caturday!

I can't believe it's so cold there already.

Anne, I hope your back heals quickly. I always swore my bupe evaporated before my eyes. Do you think it actually evaporates?
