Another great night for Tip, though nadir is a bit early tonight. She's been purring, playing, even slowly losing weight. I can't remember exactly what she weighed this evening though. I'm really hoping she keeps these greens and playing up, she needs to lose the weight, the healthy way though.

I'm having problems with her sister, Christmas though. I did post in the main health forum here: LINK. I will repeat a brief version of the info though: She has IBS, is on .4ml of Flagyl every other day in the evening, and was doing great, but at 3pm she vomited and this evening she had bloody diarrhea, any help on what to do since the vet is closed tomorrow would be great, thanks.

Re: 9/28-Tip-AMPS-249...PMPS-227...+6-94 Civvie help?

Was it just a bit of blood at the end of he diarrhea, and was it bright red? J.D. has had that before and the vets were not concerned.

I hope someone can help you with your Christmas. Sending her feel better and get better vines.

Some Pepsid may help with the vomiting. You could also try a probiotic that you add to her food. If you have FortiFlora, that would be great. If not, Pearls -- which are available at most pharmacies, or ReNew Ultimate which I've found at Whole Foods (although I've recently heard ads saying it's more widely available) are good alternatives. With the latter, you want to start with 1/3 of a capsule twice a day.

I'm sorry, I went to get some sleep and wound up falling asleep later on the couch after taking care of Tip.

As for Christmas, it was only a bit of blood and bright red. I'll need to pick up some FortiFlora on wednesday then, currently we don't have the money for anything. Thankfully the vet does payments. It's starting to look like this isn't an emergency situation for her, but I'll still get an appt soon as possible Monday morning, it's just as if her medicine stopped working altogether.

Pepcid might be cheaper, so take a look at your pharmacy.
This might help with the money situation.
Be sure to get Pepcid AC, because the other type has not-cat-friendly ingredients.

Best wishes to you, Tip and Christmas!
