Good Evening, Everyone,

We are home in the Adirondacks after a good 6-hour trip. Rusty vomited a little right at the beginning (as is his custom), but then was fine until the very last leg of our trip (45 miles on a twisting road through the High Peaks), when he began to paw at the windows. Stu used to do this on long car trips, and it is interesting that today is the 3rd anniversary of Stu's passing. He may have been sending Rusty a message, but it is also possible that Rusty glimpsed himself in the side mirror and thought it was another cat. In any event, we are home. Rusty is exhausted and is sleeping in his little bed (earlier he was napping in his perch). The weather was warm and sunny everywhere today. There has been no rain for a week and everything is dry. The little greenhouse extension on the garage is almost finished (waiting on the roofing materials). I rescued another cricket this evening--found him on the floor in the cellar. Our furnace seems to be OK (the heat has not been on, but it also heats the hot water).

Edward and I are going to chillax in front of the TV this evening. I hope all is well in LL. Will visit your condos tomorrow. Please take a minute with us to remember Stu. I know he's happy and well at the Bridge, cooking up a storm with his pal Mannie in their Two Chefs' Kitchen.

Welcome home! Not a bad BG, considering the car trip. Stu sure is a handsome guy. I know he's having a good time with all of his buddies at the bridge.

That's the first picture I've seen of Stu. Black and white, my favorite. ;-)

Like Barb, I remember Stu with nothing but smiles (and damp eyes). It seems somehow fitting that it was a warm and pleasant day for remembering Stu.

Welcome home! I'm glad the renovations are coming along and the furnace seems to be OK. Rusty is doing pretty well in spite of the trip.

Enjoy your chillaxin'. We'll raise a glass to the memory of Stu. He sure was one handsome dude.

Welocome home, chilaxin' is a great idea. Did you take a hint from Rusty! ;-)

Wow, three years! It doesn't seem that long. We are all so glad Rusty adopted you and you stayed w/ us on the board. Stu was a tough act to follow, but Rusty settled right in.

I am remembering Stu tonight. MJ's photo is a classic and one of my all-time favorites. I know that Bear Man is enjoying all of the good food being served up at the Bridge.

Stu crossed the bridge shortly before we joined. What a handsome boy - I love the white tip of his tail!! I have no doubt he and his pals are living it up at the bridge, keeping each other company while they wait for us to join them.

Hi guys,
thanks for visiting us. All is well here tonight and we are about to turn in. MJ, thank you for posting the photo of Stu in the Forget-me-nots. It is also my favorite.

Wishing you all a good evening and a good night,

Ella & Rusty (and Stu)
