Hello LL!!

Yesterday's condo: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=126060

Billie's coughing is not as bad today as it was yesterday, so that's good at least. She must have had about 10 fits yesterday  but I've only heard 3 so far today. I will be calling the vet first thing in the morning tomorrow! She must not be feeling too bad, because she is batting a toy around right now. We're going back to 1.5u tonight after 6 cycles of no green (and barely any blue). I definitely think her numbers are affected by everything else that's going on.

Grace, thanks for stopping by last night and sharing some of Angie's allergy issues...I'm curious what your experience has been, and I will be PMing you with a few questions! I hope you don't mind.

I hope everyone has a nice day. Sending vines to all the cats and beans needing vines.

Re: 9/28 Billie AMPS 295 +4 236 dosecrease tonight

I'm glad to see Billie isn't coughing as much today. I wonder if something was "in the air" yesterday that triggered things, now whatever that allergen was, maybe it has settled. Poor Billie. I hope you get some answers tomorrow. Work that extra juice, Billie!!

Re: 9/28 Billie AMPS 295 +4 236 dosecrease tonight

Thanks for visiting, Amy! It has been warmer here for the past few days...high 70s/low 80s. And, it was cooler when Billie was showing improvement. That's definitely something to consider. I have had the AC on since it has been warmer, but there could be something in the air going along with those temperatures. Hmmm... I'll mention that to the vet too.

Billie is still doing a lot better tonight. She has coughed a few more times, but just a few coughs at a time rather than the bad fits. She has spent the past hour telling me that it's dinner time. She has a few strategies for letting me know that it's dinner time. First, she stares at me without blinking for an uncomfortably long time. Then, she runs toward the kitchen and turns around to look at me, wondering why I'm not following her. Then, she gets very cuddly and gives me lots of kisses as bribery. cat_pet_icon Now she is back to the uncomfortable staring again.

Brooklyn has a different strategy...she usually just naps and comes out when she hears the can open. But, if she is getting impatient, she will lie down where the food bowls go and lick the floor, looking at me out of the corner of her eye. I clean that floor, so I can't imagine that it tastes like anything but floor. She knows exactly what she is doing.

And now it is dinner time!

Re: 9/28 Billie PMPS 318

Hi Deanna.

I'm sorry to hear that the coughing got worse, and the hives returned. Since it's better today and the weather is different, I'm inclined to subscribe to the theory that there is a connection. Minka's cough seems to change with the weather, too. Luckily, she doesn't get hives (anti-jinx). I hope your vet can come up with more ideas for relief.

Brooklyn's method of letting you know it's time to feed her had me chuckling. They are so funny about getting their point across sometimes, aren't they?

Good luck with the dosecrease. Sending anti-coughing vines!
