Zener is doing fine today. Appy is good and all the action last night stayed in the litter box. However, no yard patrol today as it has been raining ALL DAY! It's our first winter storm (only 2 weeks after the end of monsoon/hurricane season). We already have over an inch. Zener did insist on having several picnics on the covered patio. He is tough. Right now, I am incapussitated with a big black kitty on my lap. :-D And as soon as I typed that, he got up to go outside. Still raining, Zener.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans. We could especially use some LantusLand prayers for our New Zealand friend Carol, who has just been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. We hope everyone has had a lovely Caturday.

What a nice Zener report - love the good appy and lb action. Bummer on the rain, though. Maybe a raincoat is in order for days like this?

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend Carol. Prayers go out for her. :YMHUG:

WOOT!! I see blue. :-D Zener is one tough kitty when it comes to the rain. And wow on the quantity. That'll be good for the forest.

Many vines for your friend Carol. :YMHUG:

Hey Z Man--got your canoe out? Sounds like a good day for a paddle in the big puddles.
Nice slide!

Sorry to hear about your friend Carol. Many beautiful vines and prayers for her.

Hugs and scritches,

We saw most of The Roosevelts after we got back from the city, but for some reason our DVR skipped episodes 5 and 6. Hopefully we'll catch them the next time. I was struck by how remote the early-20th century chapters seemed, even though I have a great interest in World War I and the twenties, and my parents, aunts and uncles were young adults then and talked about those times often. Very interesting.

Hi All1

Love that nice slow slide today Zener! Looking good today.

I rad that about rains and kitties outside and cannot help bu think of Mannie. He went out too, no matter... and always came back looking WET. silly cat! But he did love it out there. Keep on truckin' Zener. tell your beans you need rain gear. ;-)

Enjoy your evening!!

Okay, I thought after living with my evil cat, very little could freak me out....but that was one freaky kitty you posted in Jersey's condo.   Thank goodness I wasn't eating at the time; I would have choked.

Thanks for regularly checking in on Zener. He LOVES the yellow raincoat and would like one in blue or green!

I don't think this one is as fashion forward as the first one, but it is blue and may even have a hint of green undertones.

I really hope you're happy with the new raincoat. If you make me go back to Google images, I will come across disturbing pictures that I can't erase from my mind. Pictures like this one:

Hi Liz and Anne,

I love the kitties in the rain stories. My civvie Jetzin (GA) used to go out in the rain and not seem to notice. He'd sit down in a puddle and then a little while later jump up and look down, startled - it seems the water took a while to soak through his fluff! Then of course he'd track his wet/leaves/dirt into the house.

I'm glad Zener is feeling better today. But Z-man? That's the wrong direction! You're supposed to go on a gentle curve down from 197.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend Carol. Healing vines to her.

Grace
