Update 8:50PM: plan to do a PM +4 and +6 tonite (midnite and 2AM) - if I can stay awake...!

Hi Perry! Good luck on the new dose....please DO get at least a before bed time check each night, ok?
MANY kitties go lower at night...it's a strange situation, but it is true. We want to be sure of where Sooty is during that PM cycle...cannot stress that enough to you....

I understand totally what you are saying - and have been expecting to need this especially if we should get any significant progress on his BGs.

These days, Sooty is a very different person ... overnight now, he seems content to just stay in one place and sleep (nap?) and often, doesn't eat anything at all...

I can't help thinking that his BGs seem to vary more depending what food he's eaten, than by the amount of insulin we're giving...
so I was wondering, is this unusual or not, for a cat like Sooty who's still mostly in the pinks and yellows?

I was going to stay up tonite and do a PM +6 (2AM) - but looking at his numbers, is there any point? He is no way even close to going blue, never mind green?

Anyone care to offer me their thoughts?
