Good Morning, Everyone,

Another beautiful day in NYC. We have been fortunate with the weather. Rusty had a good night, had his good morning routine, and is now napping in his cube. His bgs are still in the yellows, with some blue around nadir time, but I think he'll get back on track when we are home. We drive back tomorrow. I'll give him a few days to settle in and if necessary will take his dose back up a drop.

Lots of last-minute stuff to do today: to the Met to get opera tickets; to the bike shops; to the cat-food shops, etc. then pizza with a friend this evening. Last night I rescued a cricket that had somehow gotten in through the screen. I put him out in the bushes, where there were lots of crickets singing away.

Yo Kitties, our last day in the city. Are you all up for a visit to Patience and Prudence, eel fishing on the East River Promenade, Staten Island Ferry ride, and a top-off of the day in Coney Island, where we can ride the Cyclone rollercoaster and eat hot dogs at Nathan's Famous.

Thunk blue Rusty! It's nice that he is making the blues close to nadir. Keep on truckin' Rusty. I too bet he gets back on track once you are back home.

Sounds busy but nice there today. Nice too that you are getting good weather! Have you recovered from your bike ride? Enjoy the pizza tonight. That sounds great, well - I LOVE pizza.

Busy day but it sounds like fun. These trips to the city must be a great break from normal routine. Have a safe trip tomorrow.

Rusty! Who hoo! All set for eel fishing! Do you know how to make sushi? The beans say that eel sushi is the bestest! But, immmm, let's do the roller coaster first! Remember last time! :shock: -- Tess

Rusty must have really enjoyed that ride on the Cyclone. He's back in green!!!

We got our opera tickets for the works we want to see in the spring: Richard Strauss' "Arabella" and Alban Berg's "Wozzeck".

Ran into an old friend in one of the bike stores, but none of the stores had the helmet I'm looking for: the Scott 'Lin' model with MPIS technology, which is supposed to be much more protective of the brain in a fall. It is so popular that the manufacturer can't make it fast enough.

Bbl, much later tonight. Thanks for the visits. Rusty says the LL kitchen needs a sushi chef. He's accepting applications.

New York pizza sounds fantastic and good catch on those opera tickets.

I'm am so on for unagi sushi - I think Tess is onto something. My name is Japanese for "cat" - is that a good enough application for a sushi chef? I think Lucy might have more experience with sushi than I do though. ~Neko

Hey Rusty,

No way! I'm not doing the rollercoaster again! The last time I gacked and gacked and gacked up came all those hotdogs too! Oooh my tummy I can't handle that again!

But sushi, mmmmm that sounds real yummy, yummy... Tess you still need to make desserts but you could try a dessert sushi if you want....
