Sorry to be so MIA yesterday - Had DGS, , tree service for a tree removal, and my DS stopped by for the evening... had to spend time with him!

Yesterday was a great day for Mannie - we had green on the AM cycle. YAY!!! The PM?, well.... up some, but it was blue. I won't complain. We ar hoping for great things today - lubs ya big guy!! You've done well. cat_pet_icon and this morning.... we seem to have bounced. ah Mannie.... down we go, OK?

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D :-D THE KITTY CHOIR IS BACK!! Hooray!! and they got me up with ear-piercing bellows :-D , claws to the shoulder :-D , wet noses to the check :-D , and not so gentle nudges to any place they could find :-D .... :lol: :lol: I did get up on time. And.... wait for it..... wait for it.... a whack-a thon! :cool: :cool: :razz: . There they were facing each other, and around the circle went the whacks. :lol: :lol: What a three ring circus... You gotta love it. We had a great test feed shoot this morning - such patience Mannie has with me when I am still trying to wake up... so many purrs too. Breffis was consumed with gusto - not a crumb left. Clean plate status for sure! Napping is now in progress - it is so dark out there.... I think they have the right idea. :-D Normalcy in MannieLand.

I am on DGS duty for the entire week, for the next three weeks, as the other DGp's are on vacation. YAY! a week of Nicholas. I hope I can think of enough great places to visit. :? :razz: Yesterday we went local, as the rains here were so heavy.... I hope today's will be better! I know I won't be able to get to condos - I do miss you guys! Do know though that I am thinking of you all - and your furkids! THINK GREEN KITTIES!

Kitties!!!!! WOOT on the beach party yesterday - that was so fun. I LUBS the cobbler that Tess cook sin that dutch oven thingie. it is so good. I think Teddi liked it too - she sure ate alot. You guys wanna get together today? We need to plan - we have an OTJ coming up soon! ATLANTA!! It is Atlanta, isn't it??? See you later? Maybe we can go to Rusty's - and hang out on the porches! ~~ Mannie

And completely OT: below are some photos from DGS and my adventure yesterday. We went to a city lake, got a little wet, but he still had such a good time. I am always amazed that we can have such nice lakes inter-urban. Always a joy!

Mannie, porches yes and the KTSS later. I'm glad Teddi liked the cobbler, but I think her beans were worried about her not eating much later. Should we tell them? -- Tess

We hope you had better weather today for your excursion with Nicholas. He is becoming a real trooper: the rain doesn't seem to bother him at all.

The wake-up chorus is back to normal. Yea! The whack-a-thon is back to normal. Yea, triple Yea!

Hi Mannie: I'm glad you brought the kitties here today so that we could sit around and remember Teddi. She was so brave. We will all miss her. When we have the next full moon party, or at Halloween when the veil is thinnest, we'll be able to see her. Until then, we know that she is healthy again and that our GAs at the Bridge are taking good care of her.

Mannie and I are very saddened to learn of the passing of Teddi Bear - fly free little one. We will miss you!

The Rainbow Bandit rides again! or so it seems.... what a variety of colors he has chosen today. I wonder how low he went after I left his morning...

Hi Melissa - Looks like he made green - only to find the yellows again.... aiyee! and yes - all was back to normal today! HOORAY!!!! and thanks - DGS and I had quite the adventure... but it was so fun!

Hi Ann, and Miss Tess - i know on the liver ting... what is this kitty up too? and now we are back to the yellows... shesshhh, I sure hope he hasn't decided that trampolines are cool again... :roll: and thanks - had a great time with Nicholas - off to the Skykomish River today - it took a couple of attempts due to road closures up there, and torrential rains, but wow: what a day! and yes --- he certainly does have a photo album. :-D

Hi Angela - Thanks - the day was great! Mannie sure has hit every floor today... sheshhhh!

Hi Barbara - oh yes - it looks like the rainbow bandit has arisen. Not too sure what his plans are... crazy stuff!

Hi Ella - yes on the chorus and the whack-a-thon - YAY!!! It just isn't normal unless they are here. and thanks - sleep is on the agenda - soon! -- oh my on todays little adventure with DGS. The road to the site I had chosen was closed - rock slide. So we back racked and went to the town of index on the river. by then the skies opened up: the rain was so hard! so backed tracked some more to a river site near gold bar. Success!! Sun and the little guy got to play on the beach. all is all a great day.

Rusty - I know..... me too on bringing everyone. I am so sad today. Teddi was my friend! Yes, on the next full moon party! and for sure on Halloween, we will see all the GAs then. I hope this years Halloween is as special as last years was... it was so cool. See you tomorrow? Maybe we can just hang out again. ~~ Mannie
