Happy Dreaded Lupita Friday! Sending many healing vines to JD, Jupe, Shiwa, Hank, Shadow, and any others who need them.
As I was leaving to take Donna to the airport, I asked Lupita to please give Gracie some chicken treats and also, at +6, to warm and put the food down that I had left in the frig. WELL!!!! When I got home, I asked Lupita if Gracie ate, and she said "oh yes, she did. But first she had to hiss and hiss and hiss and hiss at me". :lol: :lol: So I'm happy that some things are returning to normal around here and that, even with bribery, Gracie still doesn't like Lupita.
Baby Girl had a bit of a blue bounce last night but was good enough to let me get away to the airport today without worrying too much. She also gave me the chance to get the estimate on having my SUV repaired. Then back to :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Her meibomanitis is acting up a bit causing her eyes to water so I need to soak her eyelids with a warm cloth tonight.
Mike said the service for Mom was beautiful although there was a little confusion over which priest was supposed to be there :roll: :roll: and the one they thought was coming, who gave Mom the Last Rites, was not the one that came. But other than that, he said it was lovely and all Mom's siblings were able to come. It was a long, difficult day for him, naturally, and he's very tired and emotionally drained. I will be glad when he is back home with me...even though I leave on Tuesday to take care of my own mother.
I'm going to grab a quick dinner and then try to start catching up with some of you and read back through some condos. Thanks again for all of your support this week. It meant the world to us. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
