Oh Zeus, please come back down to the blue floor. He was starving last night, after several days of eating a bit less than normal. Lots of pee in the box, but no poop today. he ate about half of his breakffast, and then went to eat some of Smokey's that she had left.
Zeus played with a catnip mouse for a bit last night. That is not really normal for him, first he doesn't play with toys no matter what I buy or how much I try to get him to play, and he has never really cared much about catnip either. I guess he never learned how? I adopted him when he was almost 3.
Woke me up again this morning with a light touch on the arm with his paw. So cute. At least it was a few minutes before the alarm was to go off. This made me think... Some mornings he will lick the wall or the dresser or whatever else he might be near. I think he does it because I hate the sound and usually get up. If I don't get up he just keeps doing it. He has done this since the day I adopted him, but back then he would lick the walls during the day as well. Now, it is usually only in the morning when he wants me to get up. I thought maybe it was a stress thing, but now I don't know. Our vet wasn't concerned, he just laughed. Anyone have ideas?
Have a great day,
Kathie
