Snoball is doing great. I actually moved his litterbox out of his room (my dressing room) to another room and he isn't too bothered by having to go across the hall to use it.
Finally got some cosequin (sp?) capsules to put in his food for his arthritis. The problem is that it tastes like tuna and chicken so my idiot civvie, Bing has to have some in his food too.
I finally had an emergency root canal yesterday after four days of excrutiating pain from chin to inner ear and up the side of the head. Not fun. Snoball has been a real trooper with varied shot times.
Also, I checked on Nuzzles in his new home and she is doing well. She is still eating canned food and even though they have DM dry down for their other diabetic, Nuzzles is not interested in it. I told them that this is too high in carbs for her so they are going to wean their cats off of it eventually.
The new fosters are not keen on testing although I think I have convinced them that they need to do it - I am not sure that they will. They have another FD kitty who is "doing well" on 1u of insulin BID while eating the DM with no testing. They are taking Nuzzles to their vet for a curve and they rely on his advice above all others. They are spoiling her and will probably adopt her and even if it is not my way, it is a good home for this kitty who has and is still suffering from the neglect of her former owners.
