Gooooooood morning!
Managed to get in a test last night at +5 and wasn't too surprised at the number (224) as it was the first dose of the increase. Figure he may show movement tonight or tomorrow night when the shed adjusts and fills but will pop home today from work to check, to be sure. I accidently ran out of Poopy's chicken chunks so he got a small pinch of shreddded cheese for his pokie snack. He loves cheese but wasn't exactly thrilled it was replacing his "bird". Don't worry, Poopy, chicken is thawing to chunk as we speak. ;-)
Other than missing his "bird", Poopy is doing great! He has asked, however, to go outside the past two nights so he could eat grass. Of course I obliged and took him for walks in the back yard on his halter and leash so he could eat his fill. Whatever may be bothering his tummy, he's keeping it secret because all I can find is grass balls (no hair, food, or froth). One of the resident birds is highly upset by this new routine and jumps from tree to tree shouting his warning of a cat being in their midst. While I crane my neck and strain my eyes to find the noisy bird, Poop continues to seek the choice morsels of grass as if he can't hear the bird. He's such a focused old man!
Have a happy day in Lantus Land! cat_pet_icon
