No surprise here after what (little) I saw of her cycle last night. :oops: I suspect that my dose this morning was a little bigger drop than the "tiny drop" I've been giving. The injection yesterday should wear off this evening, but I have no idea how long it will take to stop affecting her BG. Muffin has already eaten most of her breffis, and she seems to want to go outside for a bit of grass this morning. So I've not gotten my usual lovies yet, but she did voluntarily come for test time!! :thumbup I found an old friend on facebook who I hadn't spoken with in almost 20 years. Turns out she works close by, so I'm meeting her for lunch on her lunch break today! So excited! Will only be gone an hour and a half, so unless Muffin's in the 30's, I'm going! Ugh, maybe I shouldn't have typed that out loud :lol: :lol: Let's have a nice safe surf today, ok Baby Girl? Mama lubs ya cat_pet_icon Have a great day everyone!

I'm hoping that you won't see a big bounce with Muffin when the medication wears off. I'm also hoping that you'll see some beautiful #s very soon from her, too.

Wow! That sounds like a wonderful time that you're going to have today. How neat that she's very close to you, also. Have fun, and be safe! :-D

I hope this is temporary. vet visits, shots, medications all contribute.
Hope she stays up just long enough for you to have a nice reunion and slides back down to her pretty numbers....

Hi Anne, medications sure can mess with the bg's at times. Hope Muffin gets back to those nice greens. Have a great time catching up with your friend today.

Angela - So great to hear from you! I can't wait for lunch, it'll be a lot of fun...and I'm starving! :lol:

Rhiannon - I'm sure it's temporary, I just have to figure out how to best treat the pancreatitis. Hopefully the injection yesterday will suffice. So looking forward to the reunion, and Muffin has given me permission to go! Anything for fewer pokies, she says.

Ann (Tess) - Thanks, I will, and Muffin is certainly cooperating!

Ann (Maggie) - I'm sure this is due to the dexamethasone injection yesterday, and she's doing a nice slow slide so far today. So no worries while I meet my friend!

+9 160 It's been 24 hrs since her dex injection, so just getting some info. Unless things are significantly different by pmps, I'll be shooting tonight. Lunch with my friend was great, but too short. We are planning to spend Sunday together!

Good idea. Maybe just a few days and the p'titis resolving and she won't need it.
