I fattened Morgaine's dose as her numbers are creeping up and I was going to do it anyway if she didn't come down a bit more.

I am thinking that her food, which is 6-10% carbs may be one reason she has trouble holding those lower numbers. But, she has to eat the lower fat food so for now we are doing the best we can. I don't like feeding her the foods she is eating but raw is out. She won't go near it and she turns her nose up at home made diets due to all the nutrients I have to add.

Hoping to see some lower numbers today. If you look at her SS you will see that she started out in the higher blue range and some of these numbers are getting close to that. There is also the possibility of the partial fur shot 3 cycles ago but her +4 that night was 98 so who knows. Anyway, I feel safe increasing her a bit and then maybe a bit more after Wed.

Hope everyone is having a great Monday.

Good luck with the dosecrease. I think you spreadsheet is very pretty with all the blues and greens..

Thanks Dyana. I know Morgaine's SS is full of those pretty colors and I am probably being hard on myself, wanting lower numbers but I can't help myself. Diabetes is a disease I am so familiar with and I want tight control but not really low numbers. I have been surprised at how challenging it has been to keep Morgaine's numbers down with some green daily and that is my goal. I want a green nadir and I will feel good about it.

So....her +6 is 85 and that meets my expectations.

The past two days I have noticed Morgaine being more affectionate than she has been in a long time. It's not that she isn't always a sweet kitty but she started to cuddle more and hug my arm while she is purring next to me. It is very nice to see some old behaviors returning on a regular basis. I also noticed her cleaning her belly and some other harder to reach spots that have been neglected.
