Morning ~O) ~O) we're a little late as I've had "service interruption" is what Time Warner has said via phone. I have Time Warner for both Internet and cable and it's been off since early, early this morning.
Some good news first for Inspector Poo's daily report! Maggie had a poo, which was two days no poo instead of the every other day. I could tell today was the day, as she was very vocal and wanted to play with her pole toy together. This is the first green in forever, it seems, so maybe this dose will hold. I lost my ss display, so will check in a minute. I got worried with the poo, as it may have been my fault. I keep notes of when and how much each med, and I saw one area where I may have slipped up. :? Getting my notes together for tomorrow's IM Vet visit and U/S! Have a nice day. Still summer here.
Healing vines for all kitties needing them.

If you missed a dose, now you know for certain how much it is helping.
Nice to see a green for miss Maggie today. Hope she can slide.

Lack of internet is always frustrating.

Re: 9/26 Maggie AMPS 214; +2 186; +5 73

Hi Rhiannon, yes for sure now I know the meds for her Megacolon are working and nothing can be missed. I think there was one day where I didn't do a 2nd dose of the Lactulose, and I can't figure out why...but now I know how important.

Re: 9/26 Maggie AMPS 214; +2 186; +5 73

Great day for Maggie! I really need to keep better track of giving meds to the kitters, and I only have 2 cats on 1 med each  I'm fairly certain I gave Muffin's Denamarin yesterday, but I didn't write it down, so I just don't know for sure. ohmygod_smile Getting old and forgetful over here

Re: 9/26 Maggie AMPS 214; +2 186; +5 73

   Poo and a visit to the Green Lagoon! I'm glad you got into the IM vet so soon. I hope he comes up w/ a good plan of action on getting her renal values under control. How are the fluids goning?

Mags! You too!!! confused_cat You're gonna have a shaved belly? wow that's becoming a fashion trend in LL! Well, KTSS will be there when you get back for a great spa treatment! -- Tess

Re: 9/26 Maggie AMPS 214; +2 186; +5 73

Thanks Angela, I was getting used to not checking so often, so it was a surprise with the +5!

Thanks Anne & Muffin, it's so easy to slip up if I don't write the meds down and keep track.

Thannks Ann & Tess, I was glad to get in so soon, too! Maggie is great with the fluids. For some reason I didn't see the little hub after I did fluids yesterday. I need to get a better set up with the bag and watching the ink level of amoung. Otherwise, very well,

Still surfing. I need to give Mags a dose of the Lactulose, so it will be interesting on the next bg in a half hour, as I need to leave soon.

Very interesting! I gave Maggie her dose of Lactulose and wanted to see if it caused a rise. Normally, her Nadir is at +4 up to +6, as it changes. Mags also had a mini meal of Wellness Turkey, so it's hard to tell. If it does cause a rise, it's not that drastic. I'll catch up on condos later.

How awesome that you got Mags and appointment with an IM specialist so soon. I hope you can find a way to keep those poops coming more regularly. Leo can send some of his poop vines over to Mags. Good luck at the vetty today. We'll check in with you later and see how it went.

i have a shaved belly too!!!! It does make me look more buff and slim. I'm sure the girls look hot with shaved bellies. Can I see a picture Auntie Ann?
Leo.

Those are nice numbers, Ann! She must be doing pretty well or they would be worse, dontcha think? Glad you are going to get that IM visit -- good to catch anything that is developing early!

Ann, Good luck at the vetty!

Lack of internet is always frustrating.
Rhiannon, do you remember when there was no internet? Like, 1995. Good grief! Has it only been 17 years?

I took my grandfather on a road trip to Florida in 2010. We started in St. Louis, and I had a GPS device. He kept saying "We are going Southeast; Now we are going South -- this isn't right, we should be going Southeast, Well, now, we are going Southwest, We aren't going in the right direction." He was always right about what direction we were going - every time. He was 97 years old.

I tried to show him how the GPS worked, but he couldn't wrap his brain around it. I don't think he could see it very well either. I bought him a paper map so that he could follow along, and that helped a little bit. I told him I had to follow the roads, and sometimes we had to go Southwest! Then, he would forget that and start to worry again. So, I would stop and show him on the map how the road went. I wished I'd brought a magnifying glass.

When we finally got to his sister's house in Georgia, he said he was amazed that I found the place. He recognized it when we got close up, but he didn't understand how I got there without a map. He trusted me when we started out for Florida, and he didn't try to second guess me any longer. I really hated for him to feel confused & worried that we were getting lost. It was making me anxious. It was so nice that he calmed down after Georgia.

How things change. What will it be like when I'm 97? Cars will drive themselves probably.

Hi Tracy & Leo, thanks on Maggie's visit - it's actually tomorrow 9 am. A couple others thought it was today, too. I may have mistakenly said it was today.
Hey Leo, I'll try and get you that pic of my voluptuous shaved belly, Mags

Hey Detective Poo, thanks and I thought you be proud, even though it's a day late. She did have one floor accident by the smaller lb. I'm thinking it may be hard for her to climb it, as she puts her front feet in and has her rear end over floor part.

Hi Dale, it does seem to be a good day for her today. That's amazing with the GPS and finding your way to Georgia at his siste's house. I don't have a GPS, but maybe I should as I have no sense of direction.

I saw those green numbers and I thought to myself, "I bet Inspector Poo is a happy guy today!"
Looks like I was right.

Amy, you were right!  They are the first greens in a month. Maggie is feeling good just because we have Vetty visit tomorrow.
Yes on Inspector Poo, too!

Re: 9/26 Maggie PMPS 182

Even OTJ, Ruby will run a little higher when she's a bit stopped up and then comes back down as soon as there is some LB action.

Re: 9/26 Maggie PMPS 182

Hi Amy, interesting with Ruby's bg also with the constipation.

Thanks Carla and Barb & Checkers on the Vetty vines.

Re: 9/26 Maggie PMPS 182

Nice cycle for Maggie today! I'm glad she had the opportunity to feel those greens again! Sending vetty vines for your appt tomorrow:)

Nice day for Maggie with prezzie and some lovely greens  ! I know hwat you mean about keeping (and losing) track of meds. These days I depend on those pill boxes with a compartment for each day, otherwise seniour moments abound and I can't keep track  . Hope all goes well with the vet tomorrow! Have a great evening!

Greens AND poo!!!!! (not to be confused with green poo...not so good!) Awesome Day!!!! Hope you all have a wonderful evening, too!!!

Hi Ann - so so sorry for the late post... the day for sure got away from me today. Mannie and I send huge vetty vines for Maggie tomorrow. It looks like Maggie had great day today - green! And we have a poo report - YAY! Well done today Maggie.

MAGS YOU GOT GREEN AND BLUE AND POOOOOOOO!!!! We are so happy for you & know you are feeling better!! Sending Good Vetty Vines at the IM Vetty tomorrow--Hope the news is All Good--
Maggie is doing well on her fluids & Moonie is doing better on her hyper t meds too--
They are still in sync!!
Moonie uses the smaller LB which has a very low entrance--If Maggie is having trouble getting in there, maybe you could get one that's not so high, or lower the one you have-DH was going to cut ours down, but I just took the top off & she could get in it..Love you both a lot & send HUGS for a good outcome tomorrow-
Thinking of you both!
