Yesterday at Tricia's House of Chaos

We pulled the trigger this morning. So far the results are underwhelming. I know, I know, give it time. :rolleyes:o_O. Patience is not my strong suit.

I think Cinco was really happy when he got his second breakfast this morning - you mean you isn't gonna starve me today? Alright!

Minka, meanwhile, doesn't want to eat again. She did clean up her leftovers overnight, but this morning, even after meds, she was clearly nauseated. She threw up some clear liquid about an hour ago. I gave her the second half of her Ondansetron dose and some Cerenia and Cypro. A while later she licked up a little food, but not much. I'm going to see if she will eat baby food during her fluids in a few minutes, and if not will syringe. She has stopped smacking her lips, so I think the nausea is gone. I knew yesterday's happy appy was not going to last. :( :banghead:

Sasha didn't even want her first half of breakfast. I just went up and coerced her into eating some. Hot already, so I guess that has something to do with it. As soon as the sun went down last night and it started cooling off, her appy came back like gangbusters. Can't wait for cooler weather.

Harvey is still carrying the banner for CPC. :woot:

Gotta get Minka's squids done, then go get my flu shot. Hoping to have dinner and cards with friends in Sac tonight. Haven't done that in a while. Hopefully Cinco will not pick tonight to decide to get back to the lagoon....:rolleyes:

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans, especially Marilyn & Polly, Deborah & Shasta, Carla & her civvie Baby, Wendy & civvie Theo, and Marje & Gracie. :bighug: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF and DH, Marje's DM, Chris' DM, Molly's DM, and Elise's DM. Still thinking of Pennie and her DH as they mourn sweet Chloe. :bighug:

Yay, for getting a second breffis! Emma tried, but John got the gopher away from her.

Sending continued eating vines for the whole herd. Nice and cool last night, but hot again today here too.

Patience is not my strong suit

OK, some people just need patience pants, but Tricia you admit you need a stronger suit. Here you go.

Not likely to bust out of this!

The wonderkitty is getting into some nice mid blues. Safe spot for his situation. And who knows where he'll go once settled into this dose.

Girls! Eating is not an every other day kind of thing. So.....eat. Every day. Vines for happier appetites for those two.

Enjoy dinner and cards. Bean needs some R&R you know. Good for you. It'll be good for the furs.

Marilyn and Polly

Hopefully Cinco will start working that dose at a nice, safe-but-healthy rate. Appy vines for the girls, and yay for Harvey carrying the CPC banner. I hope you get to enjoy a card game tonight...you have more than earned the time off!

Ha ha ha unbreakable patience pants! I may have to borrow those at some stage...

Yay for no pink this morning, boo on the girly appetites. I hope Minka eats the baby food. I guess as long as Sasha gets her quota in it doesn't matter so much when she has it but it would be far more considerate of her to do it the other way round so you don't worry about it all day!

Scritches for the hoover for not giving you so much to :nailbiting: about

Nice blues for Cinco. Sending appy vines for the girls. I hope you got to have dinner and cards with friends. Everyone needs some time for fun once in a while. Sending prayers.

OK Cinco....now it's time to get back to business and show mama some better numbers this weekend....just a little lower please! We want you safe, but out of those awful pink numbers too

Sure hope the temperatures break for you soon so the girls can get rid of their summer appy problems....and that some nice cool air will be just the thing to get them eating every day

Have fun out at dinner and cards Tricia....you deserve a night out!...and I'll tell China to be a good kitty and not tempt Cinco into any trouble

Thanks for the visits, Ann, Marilyn, Amy, Serryn, Carla and Chris.

Marilyn, that patience suit just MIGHT be strong enough.

Cinco gave me pause with a lower PS than he's had in several days, but we loaded up Otto and went out anyway. Looks like he didn't go very far. o_O Crawling into my patience suit now. :p

I forgot to mention that they took Cinco's e-collar off the first day of radiation and said he didn't need it any more. I brought it home, just in case. As I suspected, I discovered tonight he's been licking the heck out of the area where his catheter goes and it's red and raw. Collar is back in place. :( Sorry, Cinco. Mama's not thrilled about it, either.

Minka didn't want her dinner before we left, although she ate a little more baby food. I left three plates of cat food and one of baby food out in her two favorite hang out spots. Three were empty and one was mostly gone. Now, Harvey could have eaten some of it, but we're hoping Minka got some, too. She ate a couple of bites when we got home and has had about half a jar of baby food during and after fluids.

Sasha ate about half her dinner before we left, and the rest was gone when we got home. She had a nice snack then. It's much cooler now. Figures.

Harvey acted like he'd been stranded for days without food when we got home. Of course, his plate was empty (he'd eaten all his dinner before we left and gotten seconds). He's had two snacks so far and is currently pacing back and forth past his dish, like he's waiting for the food fairy to show up and fill it.

We had fun out with our friends, but I do hate that drive home, both of us so sleepy. Of course, I'm wide awake as soon as we walk into the house! :banghead: I'll head up shortly and hopefully will drop off soon.

Blues are good for now I'm thinking. I hope you got more sleep than I did. I'm glad you had a nice evening.
