Back to bouncing, dangit. I had to go in for work early this morning and Bell had dropped from 166 to 77 in 4 hours. I'm guessing that triggered the bounce. I left food in the automatic feeder for +1 and +2 to try and slow the dip. Bell didn't eat the +1 food
, but did eat the +2. Now she's back at 307, blah. I still think I need to maintain this dose since she is dipping into the 50s (let me know if anyone thinks otherwise). I think I need to be patient. I've gotten used to her snapping to the greens and staying there.
I finished up the 14-day course of Clavamox for her anal gland rupture. I have an appointment with the vet tomorrow to talk through next steps and see if she needs to be sedated to really let the vet feel what is going on with her anal gland. The rupture has healed really nicely, but I'm still worried because the first 2 ruptures also healed well. It would be a huge relief to me not to have to worry about about a looming surgery if we can't fix these ruptures. Fingers crossed.
