Looks like Tip has decided to visit the blues! I'll be testing her every 20 minutes and soon as I get a 190 she'll get her insulin, unless someone more experienced says I can shoot lower?

I'd shoot. As long as you have strips and HC and are around to monitor, SHOOOOOOTTT!

I've only got about 75 strips, but I have 4 cans of high-carb(and plenty of honey). So go ahead and shoot?

Geez. I hope you don't need 75 strips in one night. That could be a record!

It looks like Tip is surfing. I'd go ahead and shoot.

I'm not even sure how often I'd have to test to use 75 in one night. But it does seem like a ton.

Alright, she's got her insulin and is happily munching away. :) I'm gonna' wait until after she's done eating for the rest of her medicine.

Yeah! I've very happy about these numbers! Though I'm curious now, at what point should I worry about her going too low?

Woohoo, Tip!!! :-D :-D Great numbers today! Normal numbers are 50-120 for cats using a human meter. So when she gets below 100, then you really start to pay attention. You also want to look at the trend and how much she's dropping per hour. Great job, Cindy!

Today's numbers look so pretty! :-D

Alright, I'll keepan eye out for that then. :)

And thanks to the both of you(and Sienne too).

Another consideration is where she is compared to her regular nadir or where she is in the cycle. Some cats have very regular nadir time and others (Zener is a good example) are not predictable. If she's dropping quite a bit to a lower number early in the cycle, you should pay a lot more attention compared to slowly easing below 100 when it's +6 or later. That's kind of two extremes but it gives you an idea. For tonight, it looks like Tip is fairly flat and maybe easing on toward 100, so that is just about perfect. :-D :-D

We can hope. :) I'm hoping there won't be a bounce this time(knock on wood). I'm so happy there's been progress.

Knock on wood, too. A nicer cycle than she's had and you still get some sleep!
