Good Morning. I made a second cup of ~O) today. I may have to watch Stella a bit closely. I added another .25 and it caused a major drop at. Ooops I wish I could get drops down. I can only go from .25 to .25 any tips on how to do drops? Maybe at this point it doesn't really matter.

Everything is in place...I am just trying to reach better regulation between 60-150 BGs. We can't seem to get it right....

Uh. I don't know about this increase...its too green...hahaha...I guess that's what happens when you have a hyper cat... the low numbers just seem sooo low. I wish I could get the dose between the 2.75 and the 3.0... even with reading glasses it is just too tough for me to do. I don't know how you get 'drops' you must be some gifted people! :lol:

Celi, Binks' bean, is a drop counter. I sent her a PM when we were trying to sort out how to count drops for Zener. She was very helpful and knew the # of drops per mark on certain types of syringes. Also, we now have a crookneck lamp with a light and magnifier to help us see. We also use one of those magnifiers like jewelers use, you wear it around your head and pull the magnifying part down over your eyes like a pair of glasses.

Mary...I too am not a fan of the 0.25 increments...at least trying to pull them up! Great numbers for you guys today~ :smile:

Gorgeous cycle for Miss Stella today! We have had to count drops from time to time. I twist the plunger instead of pushing it. I measure a drop as a drop that isn't large enough to roll off the top of the needle. Find a dose you can measure easily like 0.5u and see how many drops are in it. Then you can go from there.
 
Wow. Thanks for the good advice on 'drops' everyone...now when I need the knowledge I will have a good starting point. :cool:

Stella is back up the ladder at 3.0U right where she started :lol: :roll: :lol: :roll: I guess she is making sure I know the sugar dance good and well... hopefully I will be able to chase her back down the BG ladder shortly...
