This morning was tough. I was trying to get ready for work and didn't have much time. Minky decided to hide behind a chair. I had to get her out and picked her up to put her on the blow up bed that is downstairs (been sleeping on it for over 4 weeks since she has been sick). She didn't like that and ran for the couch. Usually I give her time to relax but I had to give her her shot this morning. I tried to love on her before the shot but as I gave it to her, she screamed and batted at me (which she very seldom does). I don't know if I got muscle and that made me feel even worse. Needless to say I feel like I don't know what I'm doing and so much goes wrong. I am hurting my little girl which is the last thing I want to do. This stupid disease is the pits. Also the other one who needs her thyroid pill needed it this morning. I missed it last night and she was hiding this morning... nowhere to be found before I left Nothing happened this morning but two wanted to hide :( So I have already cried this morning.

@Sheila and Minky
Aww please don't cry Sheila :bighug: I'm sorry you had such a rough morning . Take a deep breath and I hope tonight will go better with both kitties
Oh I see you did another ketone test , please don't forget to put the results in the remarks section on your spreadsheet. Sending good vibes for tonight :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
Thank you, some days just are rough I guess. Hopefully it will go better tonight. Should I post the ketones on yesterday's post?

@Sheila and Minky
I don't see it in the remarks section
No It's not there you did the ketone test in 9-23 correct so it will go there in the remarks section for that date

You said
I was going to but she was so sad and I felt like I had done so much to her the day before. She is .1 this morning which I think is really good?

So this was on 9-23 correct

:bighug: Times a million @Sheila and Minky. You’re a wonderful cat mom doing so much for her and it’s working! Look at how you’re keeping her ketones under control. It’s a lot on your plate, two cats needing care, two jobs—but you’re doing it! I wish I could make things better but you’ve got this. Hopefully she finds her perfect dose soon
Sending positive thoughts your way

Also cats are cats. The meow/swipe may have been she was just worked up about the chase and blow up bed. One day late/skipped thyroid med happens. I hope both of our babies finds their dose soon so shots can become a routine rather than charged with so much stress. You’re helping her. You’re a good mom

You are too *sending big hugs* I hope we do find the right dose and stabilization soon.
