Yesterday was...... yellow and pink day in MannieLand. He had been on a flat yellow surf for a couple of cycles, and I had so hoped that meant a drop in numbers. but no..... I am beginning to think, well know, that he may need a little bit more juice, a jump start. We've had some really great low blues, but no greens... unless I've missed them, which is good possibility. We shall see what happens over the next few days, and maybe fatten the dose toward the end of the week, when DGS isn't here and I can be home to monitor him. Ball is in your court Mannie - let's find the blues, and some greens, or it is more juice for you! lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D :-D I have been forgiven for missing Mannie's dinner hour last night, and I lived to tell the tale. I did survive, but had to sign a blood oath that it would never happen again :lol: :lol: :lol: We also made up the time this AM, shot early, and am back on schedule. YAY! Yesterday I went on another hike, if only becasue the weather was so nice at my hike destination, and it is almost October and the hike window is slowly closing... so: HAD TO GO! :lol: :cool: :cool: It was darn funny though: he did forgive me... though he was a little agitated when the backpack came out again yesterday. It was those raised eyebrows that gave him away. I had to swear I wouldn't be late before he moved from the top of the stairs. :shock: :roll: :roll: I seems that it was a nanner day while I was gone - all of them had been moved, scattered, and rearranged. Gosh it as been awhile since he has done that. This morning we had a great test, feed (YES!!!!!), shoot and clean plate club , AND the auto feeder was ignored by Mannie, and Elsa too. yes, I DO GIVE UP ON THE FEEDERS! ... Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Hey everybody!!! I was thinking.... scary, I know.... Rusty goes home today, and well maybe we could do the pancake send off breffis again. What'd'ya think? Some blueberry ones, and some cimmamum ones.... and well, lots of pancakes! The LL road rally was so cool coming to NYC, maybe we can do it going home again. Woo HOO! See you guys soon! ~ ~Mannie

Glad all is forgiven with the late din din and oath signed in blood! :lol: Good luck if you do increase, but don't be surprised if Mannie reads his condo and comes down! These kitties are psychic, I swear! Beautiful pics of your hike, and that is snow, right, up at that level I would guess so! Such awesome hiking places, too! Enjoy breffifs with your son and maybe a shore walk later?

Mannie, the pancake breffifs sendoff sounds good. I have some fresh blueberries for the fixins and some strawberries, too. See ya shortly at the curb, Mahs

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) Yes, I have been forgiven, the blood oath signed sealed and delivered! :lol: Oh I know on Mannie - he's due, and somehow always manages to pull one out of the hat at the last possible moment. Happens all the time, just when I'm ready to fatten up the dose he goes green. Silly cat! THX on the pics, and yupp: snow! It has not totally melted on Mt Baker Trails this year, but easy enough to navigate. And ever so pretty! I like this region - one can get up very close to the mtns, and very high up, with not too much effort. yesterday was an easy hike, but with views that were really very good. THX on breffis, and I hope so on the shore walk. :-D

Hey Maggie - THX! was ready to raid the frig for the blueberries, but foiled by the bean! he said something about them being Nicholas's berries and I had best not take them. HUH? and sheshhhh on that! OOOOOOOOOOOOOO! You got strawberries too? PERFECTO! See you at the curb ~~Mannie

Yeah for the blues! Ok Mannie, I think I've heard a threat that you have to find yet one more floor. Good job today, let's keep up the momentum. I think your bean will keep up her end of the bargain and make sure the fuds delivery will stay on schedule.

Great pictures Michelle. The lakes are gorgeous! It looks like a nice trail with good variety. I like the ones where you get out of the woods quickly and get on with the views. Was that a picture of a wild blueberry I saw?

Paws crossed! oh yes on the fuds delivery - no more screw-ups to be tolerated: I was so instructed. :lol: :lol: TYHX on the pics - I do love the Mt Baker area. The rial was good, as you describe: out of the woods soon, and onto the lakes and streams and rivers. Really very nice! and yupp: that was a wild blueberry. I actually found alot of them. YUM!

Hi Melissa - That he does. I think he read the blue part, is contemplating the green part... Read up Mannie! THX on the pics. I love this area: it is as you say: mtns so close, snow so close that you can literally walk up and touch the stuff. Exceptional hiking there, with out mtn climbing! :lol: :cool:

Hi Barb - I have given Mannie instructions that he is to pull Checkers down a floor. So I got this text: he says he can see him, there is his face peering over the edge,.. piece of cake he says. Cool I said, as long as you don't eat the cake. It is good to see Mannie Blue - YAY!!!! If he an only stay blue..... Nah, no hike today. cleaned the house, and dusted too! i am now out to rake the yard, pick up this and that.... Then a cupboard needs cleaning out.... blech! I'd rather be out hiking....

Hi Anne - Love that photo too! That would be our kitties... You guys always have the best. I so need to get with it! Mannie seems to e blue surfin'! I on the other hand decided I had neglected this ace too long... true! So cleaning etc today. ugh!!

Hi Carla - It is good. I am so glad that the bot still had it in him. THX too - breffis was fun. It is alwyas good to see him. He lives so close yet we just never seem to have the time for get-togethers. Gonna have to work on that. :-D

Hi Tamara - That he is! my blue boy has returned. YAY! THX on the dose, maybe this weekend if he can't seem to hold onto these better numbers. I just pike to be her too, as he can be such a diver... one just never knows for sure what he will do. THX on the pics - we are lucky that we really do have such wodnerful place to play in. Most are accessible, without too much of a drive. Very fortunate!

Hi Amy - I think so too - very dashing in the blue suit. Hey - thanks on the pics. It was hard not to take good photos at Mt baker - everything there is so incredible. One of my fav places to go. :-D

Hi Tracy - yes, I did! I was an hour late. not too bad, but he thought I had totally forgot, and was not happy. :lol: :lol: :lol: and yes, he forgave me - fancy that! i have told him the same - no need for that bounce thing.... paws crossed!
