He's been with us since Saturday, tested since Sunday. Yesterday morning I decided to cut his dose to 0.25 since I was not going to be home during the day. He was at 2u before coming here. He is eating and feeling well and his numbers are quite decent :-D
His +11 is 169 and he is due for his AMPS in about 45 minutes.

I am at work today and will not be home until +10. Do you guys think I have enough data do stick with 0.50 during the day?
I will post his AMPS before deciding.

Re: 9/25 Katmandu - Advice needed

Your link to yesterday's thread goes to you ss. It looks like you shot 0.25 yesterday morning, and s0.50 last night.

Re: 9/25 Katmandu - Advice needed

I just found and read your yesterday's post. I won't be around for your AMPS, but if he's rising, then I think the s0.50 should be okay. He is eating while you're at work, and all? If you're unsure or if it makes you feel more comfortable, you can leave extra bowls of food out, in the places where he hangs out. I sometimes even add a dab of MC on top.

Can you add "BCS" in the box for yesterday's 0.25 dose on your ss. That makes it a little more understandable.

I hope you have a good day.

Re: 9/25 Katmandu AMPS 152

A little drop from his +11. He just a little play session with DD and I though :-D

I'll go for a skinny 0.50 and leave extra food.

Re: 9/25 Katmandu AMPS 152 +11 132 PMPS 122 Advice?

This is a great PMPS but what do I shoot? Do I stay with the skinny 0.50? I am home all evening.

Katmandu vomited right after eating a bit and gotten his shot. He looked a bit nauseous and I gave him a bit of pepcid. He had a runny nose a bit when he left his mom's and I gave him some l-lysine and that seems better now.
Lots of stress the last few days.

I'll get a +2. I have HC on hand so we'll see where he stands then.

Is that too fast a drop? Should I feed a little? He's not really hungry, did not finish his dinner, but he's cuddly and purry. Guess he's feeling good?

He just vomited again  That's twice tonight. Don't know why.
Funny cat though, he goes in his litter to throw up and then covers it. He's very neat but now how am I supposed to know if it happened during the day?

Re: 9/25 Katmandu PMPS 122 +1 119 +2 82 vomiting

Well, you could ask him to throw up on your bed! You'd know that he was puking then!!!

Do you think you're over feeding him?

I know! I complain that when my other cats decide to throw up, they find the ONLY area rug in the house do to so. This one? Much too neat. I have never seen that before.

He had not eaten that much today. I left about 1.5 small FF cans of food today and he ate about one during the day. I put a fresh one out tonight and he is nibbling. Both times he looked fine before throwing up, playing, cuddling, being a little silly. Then we would just seem nauseous, licking his lips and throw up. You know, just like a child. Play, play, play, I don't feel so well , throw up, start over.
He's had so many changes in just a few days, I don't know if that could be the reason.

I just tested him after another 45 minutes - so +2.75 -and he's at 70. I put a little HC on top for him to eat a bit. Don't want him to eat too much but don't want him too low.

+4 60.
He has not thrown up again after eating. And he's eating a little HC again.
Should i test again in another hour?
