2nd breffis all done, nap in progress in front of deck sliders. I'm off to the farmers' market to buy some artisan bread. Ciabatta made with calamata olives...yummm. I actually take orders for this stuff and deliver after purchase. So worth it. So, another good day in Gusland. Enjoy the day LL.

is there anything as good as homemade bread? i have a friend who is totally into it and sometimes when we get to her house for quilting she has a couple of loaves of sourdough in the oven. 3 of us totally demolished one loaf last time that happened. good thing i don't make bread! :lol: :lol:

have fun at the market! we were going to our annual "fall festival" which is mostly artsy booths, food and entertainment, but it's just begun raining here. the son has the car at work and i'm not sure i want to go badly enough to walk 5 miles in the rain!

I'm glad to see Gus came back to the yellow zone!

We have a wonderful baker at the gourmet grocery across the street. She's actually taken me back into her area. The machine they use to bake French bread is pretty amazing. (And she makes ciabatta with kalamata olives.)
