Yesterday

Tina is busy cleaning after brekkie, with her buddy up next to her. She's quite happy and content now, after being demanding and pushy and noisy before I could get everyone set up and served this morning. DH got up too early and threw everyone off! I wish her BG was as good as mine this morning.
Funny, last night, for the second time, sitting right in front of Tina, I poked myself, instead of her ear for a blood test. Just shook my head and then poked her.
I have never come close to giving her my insulin - it helps that I always use the calipers for her dose. It's just odd how the mind can work. This cat is my feline blood sister!

Off to another eye pre-surgery appointment. I'm being checked so thoroughly for such a simple surgery. This one is a nerve test . . . because of having diabetes.

Yes, sometimes the mind scares me like I can't believe what I was going to do or what I actually did. It likes the mind just drifts off into space.....glad everyone is doing well and make sure to keep those insulin bottles far far far away from each other

Hope all pre-surgery appt's go well, better safe than sorry, your life is too important

So happy I passed, and yes, they are protecting themselves, and me too. I thank God I have zero evidence of diabetes in my eyes.
Tina and I both use the same type of pen, however her pen is boldly marked, and I use pen needles for myself, and a syringe for her.
I have had the what if nightmare before that I drew up my dose in her syringe. But that is NOT going to happen
