Well, pooh! Such a stupid way to start my Monday. I woke up to my alarm clock, shocked that Shasta was still in bed with me (best part of morning...until she bit me!! I must admit, I have a very sassy hand that taunts her often!), got out of bed; turned on lamp, put on glasses and noticed that it was an hour before my alarm was to go off!!! I swear that stupid alarm woke me up and I didn't imagine it! :roll:

Oh well, I went back to sleep for a short bit and then started my daily routine which now revolves around my lovely Shasta. Poke, shoot, feed...vomit???? UGH!!!! Breffis/vomit was liquified w/ PureBite bits in the middle (she does not chew them....only inhales them!) Cleaned up, got her to eat the rest of her breffis, poke +1, fed her the yummy stuff and now she's laying very still, waiting for me to feed her more. I'm about to get her +1.5 and then out the door.

I have one of those sassy hands too - and the scars to prove it :lol:

Naughty Shasta resetting mommy's alarm like that so you could get some extra cuddles in!

Sorry for your rough start to a Monday. It does seem like a full time job just getting their stuff done in the morning. If I could spend as much time on myself as I do them I would be happy. Bummer on the nibble but sounds like your sassy hand deserved it. :lol:

Hi guys .. oh man, I hate those trickster alarms! We've had our share of them over the years as well .. sorry to hear about the pukus, hope that was the only time today that happens .. How about dipping your toes in the blue lagoon shasta? have a great day guys!

I don't think Shasta was too thrilled about the early wakeup call either! :lol: :lol: Tess sometimes vomits up a freeze dried treat if the piece is small. I think they get stuck in the esophagus. The Prime Treats from PetSmart were softer, but they discontinued them. :twisted:

Pretty flat this morning, by Shasta standards. Too bad on the early wakeup. Ugh!

Good evening all! Well, if there's one thing I can say about my little kitty is that she is trying to be consistent in her numbers. So, tomorrow morning, I have to decide what carb % to feed at shot time. Looking at her SS, her numbers seemed to be better last week/last weekend...when I was feeding 10%/11% Wellness at shot time, but maybe it's something else...like quantity...or type (Wellness vs. Fancy Feast...can't forget how much she didn't like the Wellness and therefore ate smaller portions)? Anyone want to chime in? I liked her numbers better last week and would like to get her back there... or better!

Serryn - scarred hands are a sign of a cat owner...that and cat fur as an accessory! :razz:

Melissa - I admit it...my sassy hand did deserve it. I try to get myself as ready for the next day as possible...the night before!!!! haha_smiley

Oh Devon - trickster alarms...not cool! I'm going to check them before I fall asleep tonight to make sure she didn't change them on me while I was gone. As for the pukus...no more after the icky one this morning. Thank goodness!

Ann - I've been thinking that I shouldn't make little bits of PureBites but instead let her chew on a slightly bigger chunk...maybe she'll actually chew it?! What's the worse that will happen...pukus #10987209909! :roll:

Liz - something tells me she didn't stay very flat once I left today! She ate ALL of her snacks (minus the PureBites snacks :oops: )

Michelle - I'm so jealous that you get cool hikes! and I know exactly what you mean about "where does the time go?" I ask myself that EVERY DAY!!! A big portion is definitely spent poking Shasta's ears!!!! :lol:

Marje - on the weekends, I don't feed her past +6 (during week days, the only thing she gets after +6 are a few Purebite treats to help tide her over.) I'm still very iffy about what carb % to feed at pre-shot and +1. Her numbers just seem so wonky the past few days.

Hi Jane - I certainly hope she didn't have more in store for me last night. I did leave her last little bit of 2% FF out at bedtime...just in case she needed it! :smile:

Dale - while she scares me with all of her health issues...she definitely makes my heart happy! ;-)

Dearest Poopy,

From the sounds of it, your bean is way cooler than mine. You get food with gravy. My bean keeps feeding me all this healthy garbage that tastes like poop. I don't blame you for not wanting your little Mia to eat your fuds. I guess I'm lucky that I don't have to share my fuds with anyone...although, sometimes I wish someone else would eat this nasty stuff. :lol: I'd get to love on my bean more if she didn't have that stoopid laptop on her lap... always talking to people all over the world on something called the FDMB...whatever that is!! I will let you know what's up with the world domination after I watch a few more episodes of "Pinky and the Brain." K?! Until then, keep up the good numbers! Good night!!!!

Well, that green didn't last very long. :sad: So, I guess that means I get to go to bed early. YAY...but boo on short green window. Hope everyone has a great, easy Monday night.

Ok, it's late and maybe I'm punchy. But only here are happy wishes for a good day *right next to* casual references to liquid vomit, liquipoo, etc. Made me laugh out loud - thanks!

Hi Deborah - sorry for the late post... another day where the bean went and played, now I try and catch up!

Interesting day, interesting numbers... I do see some green in there. Shasta - we need more of those!
