As I posted yesterday,I have switched to giving Papaya the Metamucil she gets for constipation to the +1.5 meal instead of the preshot meal. Every cycle I have done this (which is only 4 out of the last 5 so not a lot of data yet) she has been very very flat without the dives that have become sort of her signature. I'm not certain that it's not just a coincidence, but it was a variable that I wanted to play around with. The problem now is that she is flat in too-high numbers, so I think I am going to have to go back up to the 1.25 dose. But wow, if this can actually stop the bouncing, dosing will be a lot easier to get right.

I will definitely be home with her tomorrow to keep an eye on things, as I fell crossing the street on my way in to work this morning and twisted my knee pretty badly. :roll: Stupid slippery ballet flats of doom.

Boy, that Papaya is a puzzle. She works her bean very hard. She is lucky to have a bean who is so thoughtful about what might help.

Flat low shoes are bad.

Repeat 10x.

At least it's autumn, so you can cover up the bruise with a cute pair of tights.
The Metamucil variable sounds like its' worth investigating. Clever you to figure this out!

Oh, flat again little Papaya? That's ok, but let's bring the whole thing down to nice and flat blues and green. I hope the metamucil works on those poos.

Hellooooo Donaleen, Mariko, Lara and Doreen, thanks for checking in on Papaya and I! She's still flat! Is-this-meter-stuck kind of flat. So I increased tonight. It would be very nice to see low flats . . . just not in shoes, as you point out Lara :lol:

Papaya is pleased to have me hanging out with her on the couch. She is belly-up and purring. We'd make a sorry-looking pair walking anywhere, but it's cozy to be at home!

That's interesting on the Metamucil. I hope it helps keep Papaya flat. Hopefully the dosecrease will bring flat blues or greens. Sorry about your knee. Sending prayers it heals quickly.

Yep, that is one flat cat! Very interesting about the metamucil timing switch and the flatness...it will definitely be interesting to see how this unfolds.

Bummer about your knee - ouch! I hope it heals up quickly.

Good evening Carla, Amy and Josie (hee hee, cute pic!). Tonight is staying verrrrry flat in the 300s. Hopefully the increase starts to bring things down tomorrow. Papaya went to bed early so I think I am going to follow.

For the knee I am following the R.I.C.E. steps . . . the C stands for chocolate, right? :lol: Have a good night - I'm planning on more time to visit condos tomorrow while taking it easy.
 
Yay for still continuing flat!!!
I really hope that she'll work the extra juice and do some lower flats!
