I have so totally screwed up Jesse's shot time - last PM was 1.25 hrs late (stuck on I-5 again) and this morning after I made him stop pawing at my face at his usual shot time of 5:30am, I didn't wake up until 7:15. Argh!!!

Stayed up until +6 last night and he remained in the 190's. This is starting to freak me out - I can't figure out why he keeps going up, up, up! :cry:

Hi Carolyn & Jesse,
Thanks for visiting Rusty's condo so that we can commiserate about our hard-to-explain higher numbers! I'm going to try the Omega 3 fish oil, because it is very possible that Rusty has allergies (he sneezes a lot). You have a tougher situation than I do because of your work schedule. All I can say is, good luck to us both!! I'll be following Jesse's condos.

Sorry to hear about Jesse's climbing numbers! I hope he comes down for you soon. Bummer about over sleeping. You definitely needed it! Have a great evening!

I don't know the answer, but I'm familiar with your frustration. Trix has done that before, too. Maybe he's in one of those "you gotta go up to go back down" phases. Hopefully he'll have a breakthrough soon!!!

After reading the comments in Rusty's condo I am definitely going to try the Omega-3.
Jesse was born with chronic upper respiratory issues, one runny eye and lots of sneezing boogers :sad:
Lately it seems he is worse and both eyes are icky. I've tried Lysine in the past, but it didn't seem to help.

Maybe I just wasn't paying attention (and not thinking allergies could affect BG's). I'm hoping this helps.

There are sooo many choices of Omega-3 and I understand there are a lot that are not of real good quality. Can someone recommend a brand?

145 PMPS at +11.5 to make up 1/2 hour - leaving 1.25 left to make up. Ugh, I hate it when shot times get messed up.

I think the only way I can get a nadir on Jesse is if I test every hour. Today it looks like it was at +3.25. :?
 
there are other cats that nadir around +3/+4 - maybe that's going to be jesse's pattern for a while. punkin had one phase where he slid later - his nadir was +8ish - i have no idea what makes that happen.

you must've been blessed with game traffic. our daughter was going to come over from the coast but decided the traffic was too bad to wrestle with. you can really get stuck in it.

his numbers aren't really too bad, even though they're higher than normal.
