Yesterday - No Surfing for Luci on Caturday :(

Nothing much going on here so far this weekend...Luci has apparently had enough surfing on Friday to last her a day or two. I do wish she'd come down off these higher numbers...:banghead:

She had a flat yellow day yesterday and pushed out one little blue at 10+...maybe today she'll go back for a nice surf - it's getting too cold here for much in the way of swimming or heaven forbid, shark chasing. Only 44 degrees this morning - brrrrr - first day of Fall was yesterday and it was very evident! Leaves are changing colors everywhere - we're having to wear jackets/hoodies again...we had a big fire in the backyard and burned old paperwork and logs - roasted a few marshmallows and played with our civvie Abbey - she's feeling much better but I only let her out when I can watch her like a hawk. Neighborhood baddies are still roaming around our yard (I saw two of the hooligans in the morning on the far back edge of our property)...:(

Sending vines to all our sick kitties in need - we're watching, praying and sending strong vines across the ether for all of you.:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Have a pleasant and blessed Sunday everyone here in L&L land.

Yeah these cats, seriously. Lou's been bouncing after high greens like he was just diagnosed. He had a good AMPS, but I doubt it'll stick around. He doesn't know how to surf those greens anymore and I don't understand how he could have it and then lose it again. We had a really late and random 90F day, and then the temps have been soo cold once the sun goes down. We've had some nice temp days, but only for a few hours in the afternoon. Randomly some of the leaves started to change weeks ago, too early for me. I guess I shouldn't complain too much, at least we're having a proper fall this year. Last year winter came early, was colder than we've had in a while, and lasted forever! I hope Luci finally gets her act together and gets back down to the lagoon for you. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

I've heard about those winters in ND...used to work for a guy who said he'd 'done time in ND' - apparently it was a really bad winter or two while he was there. Michigan winters are horrible enough - in my estimation - and now that we're older and my DH has retired - we fly South for the winter - just like the rest of the birds around here...thank Goodness for Florida! @Bellasmom, @Krystina & Nelli - can you hear me? Won't be long now - only about 7 week until we get to your state for the warmth...wish we could send you guys some of this refrigerated air - we have plenty to spare today... :)

Yes I can hear you Sue! Boy, the weather has not been enjoyable in my neck of the woods :-\. Hopefully within 7 weeks it will turn and become delightful!

I hope Luci slides down and surfs today. It has finally cooled down here this weekend too. We've had a lot of 90sF with humidity. Today it is in the 60sF. It feels wonderful.

Maybe the Kitties are reacting to the change in the weather? It seems a lot of them are doing weird stuff !
Chicago was also in the 90's & humid. Then last night in the 40's! Crazy drops in the temp:woot::woot: I hope we have a mild winter.

Have a relaxing Sunday :)

Hey Sue, send some cooler weather this way would you?
