Not a bad start for a Monday moanin' .... back to work for mama bean...I'm feeling better each day - although still a little tired in the afternoon - but I can take a brief break (I hope) and rest a bit before the bottom half of the day.

Hope Luci returns to the lagoon again today - she seems to be getting the rhythm of surfing the lagoon - thankfully! So we shall see.

Have a wonderful day all you beans! I hope your kitties all behave themselves and hit some nice beach or lagoon time today :)

Hi Sue! I’ve been offline and trying to catch up. What kind of surgery did you have? I’m glad you are feeling better though!

Glad Luci is giving you some regular lagoon time.

I had an aggressive basal cell CA removed from my nose with a cartilage and skin graft from my ear. It was a bit more involved than the surgeon told me about - perhaps because the cancer ran a bit deeper than they knew. He hadn't told me it would require the length of time (in surgery) or the general anesthesia ... that stuff always makes me feel bad and it's taken me a little more time than I'd anticipated to get back on my feet...and this was after I had a crown extension performed last month...so I'd just gotten to feeling 'normal' from that procedure and had to have this taken care of...back to back surgeries, never a good thing.

Thank you for asking!

Oh Sue! A graft !! I had a basal cell removed from the side of my nose with the MOHS technique but awake for it . It was up near my eye and quite painful for a few days. I can only imagine how sore you were with a graft and all. Those basals are like icebergs. The smallest part is on top of the skin and then they mushroom out under the skin.

Glad the procedure is behind you. :bighug:

Very happy to hear you're feeling better everyday Sue. :bighug:
And it's great to see Luci becoming a great surfer girl! Keep on track Luci, you're looking so good! :D

It's probably going to be a good day! Hoping you'll get over feeling shy about your face - just remember Luci doesn't care or think you look bad at all. And you did a smart thing for your future:bighug:
Show everybody what you can safely do today, dear Luci!

DH has recurrent squamous cell cancers removed every few years, so I feel for you -- luckily it was bridge of his nose and just in front of ear last time, so less invasive than yours .. but I feel for you -- he won't wear sunscreen but at least has gotten into the habit of wearing a hat any time there is sun

Sue, how those of you who work outside the home AND care for a sugar kitty blows me away ! I am in honest awe of you :bighug:

Luci is getting Great BG. Maybe the Levemir is working? Happy to hear you're feeling better! :)

I actually work from home...just have to set a noisy timer to remind me to pop up and test Luci ... but still we start early even though I don't have to commute to work to get it done... :)
