I know it takes awhile for the depot to form. I will get some more numbers. Is it normal to expect higher numbers for a few days until depot builds up for those who have used Lantus? The nadir could be in different places as well.

I would not be unexpected before the depot builds up, especially after the first shot of Lantus

It happens often enough with Lantus we have a phrase "new dose wonkiness" - when you change (or start) Lantus, there may be a few erratic numbers. Unless you see low too numbers, you have to wait 5 days on the first dose and 3 days on any later dose, to determine if the dose is a good one. We often suggest folks put on "patience pants" because of the need to wait it out.
