Juggies amps was 293. Gave his .75U and fed.

I am having some issues with my elderly mother and Juggie. He was her cat originally and we took him away from her because she was over feeding him to the point he got up to 35LBS. Since she has moved in with us, and his diagnosis, I have caught her a number of times feeding him kibble or feeding him in the 2 hour frame before his shot. We have argued, I’ve tried to explain the importance of her not feeding him but apparently she just doesn’t care. I don’t know what to do, his numbers must be all messed up to you her sneaking him food when he shouldn’t have it as well as food he should not eat. I’m at a loss and quite stressed. Any suggestions??
 
Can you get rid of the kibble form the house? At least that will solve the problem of him eating food he should not.

Sadly it’s for our non diabetic cat. He used to eat soft food but will go days without eating if only offered soft. He’s a jerk lol so we give kibble so he doesn’t starve himself

Do you think you could switch him to low carb kibble? Young Again or Dr. Elsey's Cleanprotein or Wysong Epigen?

We can try it. He’s super fussy and I’ve wasted so much money trying “better” kibble because they don’t do like sample size lol.

we had a family meeting and I feel like finally she really understands the severity of her actions. She swears she will not feed him kibble again and agreed to only feed them soft food at lunch time. So we shall see.
