He wanted to eat everything in site again. I gave him 4 units.
I am more worried about Dallas. yesterday he ate a couple of bites of breakfast and a couple of bites of dinner. he slept with me last night and I thought maybe he wasn't feeling well as a result of the biomox anti-biotic he was on. This morning he acted his normal self at breakfast and wanted food, but again, only ate a couple of bites and kept walking away when i tried to give it to him. Left a message for the vet, as I don't know why he won't eat.

Antibiotics may do a major number on the GI tract as they kill off bad AND good bacteria.

Ask the vet about trying Pepcid AC, 1/4 of a 10 mg tablet, may help if given 20-30 min before food.

Giving a probiotic 2 hours after the antibiotic may help restore some good bacteria. Forti Flora is one and vet may have it in office, though it'll be less expensive online. A teaspoon of plain yogurt with active cultures is another unless allergic to dairy.

Plain yogurt (be sure that it contains active cultures) is what I would suggest. And give food that he really likes!!!

ok, going out to Publix and Walmart to find the yogurt (I don't eat it myself).
Cedric is still a bit hopped up on his pain meds....

Well, went out in the pouring rain to get Dallas plain yogurt - WOW that is hard!
Went to Walmart to get some groceries then tried to put them into someone else's car...he has a 2011 Elantra just like my 2012....
Back home and Dallas ate the rest of his dinner. Cedric let Dallas eat before pouncing on the bowl. He is now drinking some water since his sugar is probably still above 300....sigh...all i want to do right now is fold myself into bed...but Sleepy Hollow is on Fox tonight!

I don't think I've ever seen a small container of plain yogurt, large yes. I buy those when I make smoothies.

Hope he feels better soon.

What the cat can't use, may be used for dips, sauces, or salad dressings. Add a pinch of baking soda for the human use to neutralise some of the acidity.
