Happy Thursday!

Garland got her tube out this morning!! dancing_cat (she looks naked LOL)

The Dr said she looked AMAZING!!! He was so happy with her recovery. Said her energy was good and he can tell just from looking at her that her weight is much better. Said she even gained some muscle mass. He talked about another diabetic kitty they sent home last night with an e-tube and said he knows Garlands recovery story will give that family hope for their kitty.

All the nurses and doctors were raving about her KittyKollar. They said they will start recommending them to their etube kittys. I let them keep one so they could show all the kitty parents what a fabulous thing it is, and gave them the website address.

I want to thank each and every one of you for all your help. Garland never would have made it without everyone here on FDMB!!!!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!!

She looks gorgeous, healthy and happy!!!! I'm thrilled that the same vet got to see her. Garlands video made my day. I hear you on them looking naked. Maverick had a PEG tube so he wore baby shirts. I had little heart stoppages after we took off his shirt when his tube came out. Like OMG somethings wrong. ohmygod_smile Nothing was but my brain had to catch up to no shirt.

I am so happy for you.

I was thinking also, I wouldn't go giving them a bath. She has recovered from a lot and you don't want to stress her unnecessarily. I would keep doing the smell transfers with a towel for another week. I bet with no tube, civvie will come around.

You did an incredible job getting Garland back to good health. Give yourself a pat on the back (or a belly scritch)!
 
Awww Violet that video got me all choked up. It makes me very happy to see how far she's come, it's like night and day comparing that picture of garland you took when she was in the hospital to now.
 
Hi guys .. oh my gosh garland, I could just gobble you right up with kisses you are so stinking cute! She looks AMAZING! I can't believe how well she is doing, you've done an amazing job with her and now her story is a story of hope for others ... great job guys!

Loved the video!! Miss Garland is really quite the charming little sweetie pie!! So glad the tube is out and that you've been able to help the vet better deal with these issues!!

I just love that video!!!! How FABULOUS to see her playing and looking so well!!! And she has the most gorgeously cute kissable squeezable huggable little face I've ever seen!!! I'm so happy for you. You did such a fantastic job. I don't know that I could have done it.
 
Aww!! Thanks everyone for sharing in my excitement. Garland seems to be excited today too. LOL Shes had more energy and eating much more since we got home. I have a feeling that tube and collar have been uncomfortable for her.
