Nothing says good morning like a slobber covered dead mouse next to your bed. At least the Dub had the sense to unbury it BEFORE I actually got out of bed. I had allowed him into the garage last night... i've got a litter box out there and am trying to get rid of the one in the kitchen (and move it to the basement where I already have another). Don't think we'll be doing that anymore! He had a good day today hanging with me while I worked at home. Lots of cuddles all day. Love it!!

Met with the doctors to go over my MRI and other test results. Had to wait for over an hour, though I did give them heck... a neurology institute that specializes in headache treatment makes people sit around under florescent lights in both the waiting room and all the exam rooms. Basically, I learned that I have a stiff neck caused by excess tension in my neck and shoulders. Sooooo glad I paid hundreds of dollars so the doctor could play Captain Obvious for 20 minutes. Then he kept stressing a head MRI, which would be another $400+. I finally told him that he'd have to justify it... tell me what he could learn from it that would justify the expense. He backtracked and just kept repeating that it was "up to me." I said no to that and a preventative daily med (4 choices, all with crappy side effects. Might consider one of the 4, Inderal, down the road). For now, I'll be doing physical therapy twice a week. We'll see how it goes!

Okay, a certain someone says it is time for more cuddles!!

Very nice #s for Willie today!!! I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through that with the doctors. I truly hope that you can find someone and/or some relief soon. I wish for you to make a full and speedy recovery. :YMHUG:

Just catching up, nice numbers for Willie, on the Mouse, but at least it wasn't still alive!

if that's what he thinks it is, that $400 would pay for a LOT of good massages!!!

Did you really already do PMPS? You have really moved your shot times.

Good Willie was just trying to give you a little present. Don't you love mousies as much as he does? Yucko! At least he cuddled with you to make up for it.

I am really beginning to think that there is no science to their science. I can read web md and take a stab at a lot of things for $400. I will only go back to rule out the scary stuff anymore and just self medicate. I wish you would have gotten more definitive information rather than the old "it's just stress. Reduce your stress" line of bs.

Have a great evening and give the big guy a scritch for me!

Um, gross to the mouse... YUCK. I will give Willie credit for trying to be helpful to his keepers though!

I'm sorry that the neurologist apt was not helpful- have you tried a chiropractor? They have done wonders for me with lower back issues and shoulder stress... Just a thought.

Have a good rest of the day!

Christie are you in physio now? I am seeing a head/neck/jaw specialist for physio and its not helping my neck. I stopped going a couple of months ago. The muscles in my neck cause the worst headaches. Ones where I want to do a self lobotomy. He did diagnose issues with my very top two vertabrea not moving well to the right. My muscles compensate. He was working with me on loosening the muscles and stretching them out so he could work on my neck but we haven't gotten there yet LOL. I found out recently I don't have "headache triggers" I have neck triggers. The day after a thunderstorm I'm in bed. My neck feels it, leads to tension in my neck muscles which causes a full out migraine.

Is there anything that helps you?
